  • cool!

  • I suspect that it is a corona motor: half of the metal blades beneath the disk spray positive charge onto the disk (the other blades spray negative charge) ; the disk rotates until the charged sector is above a blade that sprays negative charge ; the sector discharges and is charged with negative charge ; and the disk rotates to the next blade, etc. To supply the high-voltage, "milan1759" uses an electric air freshener.

  • UFO

  • sound just like my xbox

  • meh wheres the explosion

  • freak

  • try that on justin bieber.

  • mam rad slovakov, ktori sa hraju s elektrinou

  • is your disks to clean, are they so clean and new that you have nothing to worry about, WELL INTRODUCING S.D.D, A SUPER DISK DESTROYER, MAKES YOUR PERFECT DISKS A MESS IN NO TIME, IT COSTS (->ONLY<-) $60,0000, THE PRICE IS SO YOU DONT HAVE ANY MONEY TO REPLACE THE CDS, PERFECT INSERT INTO THE SONS XBOX AND THE DAUGHTERS CD PLAYER TO MAKE YOUR HOUSE ALOT BETTER PLACE TO LIVE. C.D.D A MICROSOFT PRODUCTION

  • ihe is speaking in slovak language :)

  • THEY SPEAK ENGLISH IN WHAT?!

  • could someone try to make a smaller motor using a dielectric? with a fan attached? free air conditioning.. lol

  • Best use for an AOL disk I've ever seen.

  • @naxps LMAO

  • Awesome video. Keep on with that good work!

  • WIZARD!!!!!!!

  • sounds like my xbox lol

  • mine too lol

  • Very nice setup. You clearly have some high voltage there.

  • English version pls..

cos i dont know wht u do but its very interesting.

  • The disc spins 24x?

  • does not look very safe this blades static disk spinning thing... still cool toh

  • make a mini-hard drive next :D

  • Is the power supply for the static electricity from a laser printer or copier?

BTW I love the AOL disk as the rotor!

  • no power comes from small air purifier.

  • at 0:58-1:00 he says matt damon!

  • mmmaaat daaaaamon lol

  • lol, I heard that and was like wtf? Too funny XD

  • he said "nad tym" which means "above that"

  • OMG he really douse lol

  • if that had shattered everyone in the room will of got scars

    sards od

f disks can slice skin easily

  • Nicely done :D

  • is that one of those old america online cds that u get in the mail?

  • looks like it, lol, you could order as many as you wanted from memory.

  • obvious it it, but they still sending me those.

  • they stoped due to i had rode runner, lol

  • my english is bad, what's that mean?

  • my isp roderunner is 20x faster than dialup and 10x faster cable, so i have one of the fastest isp on the market

  • so what's the speed per second. and how much does it cost and is it only available at your place?

  • its 10mb/s and the turbo is 15mb/s its part of a package called the all in one its like 139/ month for cable, phone and roderunner

  • wow, it's expensive, but it's good for people who download so much

  • if it didnt have tape it would shatter due to high rpm, lol , get it out my eye!

  • It's Levitation! Overunity! Free enegry! na it's just some static fun

  • FASTER!

  • saying sketchy is sketchy IS sketchy! Muhahaha!!

  • However, I like this video* correction

  • I bet that experiment produces a bunch of Ozone. Very low amps but very high volts. This is the same principle that makes electro-static air purifiers "work." However, I this video because I think electo-static energy should be used for propulsion instead of filtration.

  • pekna zabavka :-)

  • are you wearing glasses, cuz that thing can bust yo eyes, i do that stuff too

  • Excellent work! Thanks for this video, I found it very inspirational... I'm building a turbine with CD's and this will be useful.

  • another way to cut things

  • RLy nice Rpms, insane speed:)

  • some days we could all have cars powered by aol cd's lol

  • All from the early 2000's. wow i dont know what i did with all those aol cds. i know i didnt use them!

I shoot the metal tins, still finding them around here.

  • those old aol cds were cdrw's, I used to reburn stuff onto them..

  • jokein?

  • konecne nejaky Slovak na youtube :D jako si to spravil? aj ja chcem take :-)

  • so its levitating ?

  • No lol its hanging of fishing wire lol

  • CD hanging from fishing line over blades powered by static electricity.

  • Whoa, the CD at the end of clip, was spinning at about 10,500 RPMs... I would like to do this one! =) (I'm already experienced on electronic DIY, and I may have scrap parts I could use to do this experiment.)

  • where can i find a complete description?

  • HAHA!aol cd

  • That's another one of the many uses of the AOL CD. I throw them at my friends.

  • LOL HAHA!!

  • wow.

  • so whats it doing other then fucking up that CD =P

  • man i was hoping it felw off and chopped ur head off

  • aww u made an automatic cd scratching device :( lol

  • HAHA!

  • Please come to overunity dot com to discuss this

    setup.

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • its a good homopolar motar....lol homo

usualy there made with batterys magnets and copper wire

  • I feel dizzy.

  • I'm glad you're utilizing your education on building little electrical spinning things.

  • Some RPM also. Around 2000 or a little more. I assume the fishing line is allowed to rotate at the fixed end. :)

  • BRUSHLESS MOTOR AND NO MAGNETS just complete static. ths fans in the computer are brushless but uses magnets to follor electric current

  • no.

  • ti ruskii?

  • thats a homopolar motor. invented in the 1800's

  • i think you may have something there :)
