Man 4:02-4:35 was just phenomenal. Had these guys decided to sing r&b during their prime, they would have blew 80's groups and artists off the charts. It's just amazing how God used their voices to do his will and deliver a powerful message through music that has saved so many souls over the past few decades. I'm a huge hip hop and r&b fan, but I'm proud to say I grew up listening to the greatest gospel group of all time!!!!!!
@eytv Yes, they are definitely talented but they did blow up the charts in 80's. They were known for crossing over, very successfully, into the r&b charts. They were a group that did an r&b style of gospel. That's the great thing about the gospel music, it can be done in all genres.

They were to also have a daughter (Destiny Joy Winans), but she died shortly after her birth; from that experience birthed the song "The Rainbow" as well as her record label "Destiny Joy Records". I know I'm going to be rebuked up in here but I have to get it out of my chest. I think Marvin Winans is the most handsome, good-looking black man I have ever seen. Now you can take that to the bank and CASH IT!!!! It ain't nothing wrong with compliment Christian men as long as it's pure and not sexual.
Maybe if Joe have Jesus in his life, his children wouldn't be the way they are. It's like two big black families but different paths. The Winans is on the Christian side and The Jacksons are on the secular side. Two extremities if you know what I mean.
The devil hates family, and the only way to destroy the family is to destroy the HEAD of the family. God ordained the man to be the head of the family. The devil had a hold on Joseph and that's why the whole Jackson family is the way they are. God didn't ordained the woman to be the head of the family. He ordained the MAN to be the head of the family, and the devil knows that.
the only difference is that the winans have great singing capabilities and their talents and success travels down generations and its not like that for the jacksons but the jacksons have great dancing capabilities(their singing sucks) and we dont know if it traveled down to the other generations because NONE of their kids perform.
it's not that he's a control freak cuz he's not, it just that Pastor has always been the spokes person of the family, and they all respect him because he has always been the one that always fasting and praying and seeking God, so they give him the respect as the "leader" of the family, because they trust the God in him!
not a control freak but a leader, spokesman,a very creative man, one who wrote most of their songs, an excellent pianist and funny so of course he would be the one to speak often and tell the story...umble is an inflourescence where the flowers appear to arise at one point...so the correct word would be humble sometimes pronounced umble(for the older country folk).
This video really touch my heart, I really miss Ron so much, Remember Ron Winans and Family 1, 2, 3, 4, I was hoping for five. But God had a Higher work for him.

I saw the Winans in concert on TV some years back; and Cece wasn't there, just the boys. Then on God channel, London we saw Cece singing on her own a couple of times. My sister used to say - 'oh she's got the same name - I wonder if she's related to the winans'? And I used to say 'no'!!? because I didn't think she was, as she sang all the time on her own - I suppose I should have done some research!! eh?
In fact I must show my sister this video clip....

Maybe if Joe have Jesus in his life, his children wouldn't be the way they are. It's like two big black families but different paths. The Winans is on the Christian side and The Jacksons are on the secular side. Two extremities if you know what I mean.

the only difference is that the winans have great singing capabilities and their talents and success travels down generations and its not like that for the jacksons but the jacksons have great dancing capabilities(their singing sucks) and we dont know if it traveled down to the other generations because NONE of their kids perform.

it's not that he's a control freak cuz he's not, it just that Pastor has always been the spokes person of the family, and they all respect him because he has always been the one that always fasting and praying and seeking God, so they give him the respect as the "leader" of the family, because they trust the God in him!

not a control freak but a leader, spokesman,a very creative man, one who wrote most of their songs, an excellent pianist and funny so of course he would be the one to speak often and tell the story...umble is an inflourescence where the flowers appear to arise at one point...so the correct word would be humble sometimes pronounced umble(for the older country folk).
