Iommi is so awesome ,he has a nice bass midrange chunk and never sounds screechy when he solos. It really is incredible how much differently Iommi wrote with Dio ,than Ozzy

All line-ups for Sabbath sound amazing, and do you know why. Because over the past 30-40 years Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have been spittin out those amazing riffs. So without Iommi and Butler Sabbath dies. And don't get me wrong, you can't have a Sabbath without Bill Ward either! So stop all of this debating on whether DIO or OZZY is better than the other!

@Skatchintheax Umm no.....Dio was NOT in Black Sabbath longer than Ozzy. Ozzy was with Sabbath for 10 years. Dio was with them for 8. from '79 to '82 then from '91 to '92 then from '06 to '10 whereas Ozzy was with them from '69 to '79. Not saying Dio wasn't awesome, he was and will be missed, but know your history. It seems YOUR comment would be incorrect.

Dio is definately more evolved musically but I dont think he has the personality that ozz had in his day! Dio musically better though i prefer ozz's voice and ozz is to me the better performer I do like the fact that they have not called themselves black sabbath as in my opinion there is only one sabbath and i say that because the original sabbath had a reason! to escape the midlands at the time and tell the world that it isnt all love and peace they bought the music scene back to its feet.

Let me tell you something about Ronnie James Dio, first off, Ozzie is great and all and yes with out him (Ozzie) the world would be a little quieter (loud rules) but Dio has more talent (and power) in His index and pinkie finger than Ozzie has his whole body (I still love you Ozz) and Dio (The God of Metal) never uses profanity at his concerts which shows that He is also a Gentlemen.
