  • El mejor vídeo de pruebas con copas 4.5 que e visto en youtube....! Las que + me gustaron fueron las RWS Superpoint..

  • Very Good, going to try my pellets

  • the flat tip one makes the biggest holes in apples and clay

  • wats the gun and how many fps??

  • gamo gun suck

  • All these are wrong tests actually, cuz cant get 1000fps with promagnums, my rifle was able to shoot 900fps max & it was a h440 177

  • Hey nice vid can you try out the Gamo redfire pellets?

  • @125Tanner will try to get a hold of some, also have some homemade steeltip pellets to try out, but I won't be making a vid for the next couple of months

  • thx

  • awsome video

  • very good video. thanks

  • For killing pidgeons what shape would suit me best?

  • @TheRATBOY100 I would recommend good quality dome head pellets. Domes generally give good accuracy and they give a good trade off between penetration and blunt impact. I've found RWS Superdome are very good, H&N Field Target Trophy are great and so are JSB Exact. If possible try a selection of different dome head pellets then you can find which ones you and your airgun like best. Always go for quality pellets made from lead.

  • Is it better to have more exspansion or no?

  • @AwesomeAlex420 Depends on what you want. If you want to kill, then you want pellets that expand more. If you are just practice shooting, then you probably wanna go for round-headed or pointed pellets which have more precision at longer distances.

  • @AwesomeAlex420

Yes. The more expansion the more collateral damage

  • is that acdc rock'n' roll train?

  • dude i love your video but can you do one with the gamo red fire pellet vs the gamo rocket pellet?? that would be awsome!!!

  • Nice vid ,

  • Very nice

  • Hey ,does anyone know if this rifle pictured here is a Marksman 45 ? It looks exactley like my rifle.I bought it a long time ago when K-Mart was the Wal-mart .They sold low, med.high end pellet rifles.I cannot find any info on my rifle anywhere, like the co. went out of business.Just in case I needed a part.My gun is a break barrell.Anyone ?

  • like the song and like the test just got a gamo silent cat a i like to hunt small game now i now what pellet to get.

  • clay is a good medium because it cavitates and thn doesnt bounce back like water would do

  • what are u useing for this test

  • What rifle were u using? It has to be a PCP one to shoot those pro magnums at 300 m/s

  • wat is that brown thing

  • looks like tha gamo match had the best performance on the clay, this is due to its flat surface, which transferred to the clay in a short time, but match pellets use their accuracy after 25 yds on most occasions, so it is not ideal for long range hunting, domed pellets are though due to their areodynamic shape, and great Ballistic coefficient

  • @BENJItrailNPxL1100 i meant the match pellets transferred all its energy into the clay in a short time

  • thanks a lot

  • can you do one with predator polymags, gamo red fires, PBA raptors, and gamo blue flames plz?

And why do 5 ppl dislike this????

  • better use rws pellets...

  • nice vid...can you make one with the crosman Destroyer EX...and the gamo TS-10???...

  • @sebastian987654321k I'll see what I can do. I can get Gamo TS-10's, but Crosmans are hard to find in Denmark, otherwise I might test some other pellets as well. Thnx for the suggestions:)

  • @Lammedreng wouldalso like to see polymag predators and i wonder how premethius would do in this test...

  • @sebastian987654321k the destroyer ex spreads out and the point gets bigger i can make a video i have a couple left

  • nice vid...can you make one with the crosman Destroyer EX...and the gamo TS-10???

  • good test and song is good

  • good test and song is good

  • Gamo pro magnum FTW!!!

  • ok thanks. So it is just regular molding clay?

  • What type of clay is that and where can one pick some up? Also, around how much does it cost for a block about the size of yours in your video? Thanks

  • @ManOfTheWoods100 I see that you live in the US, so I don't know precisely where to get it over there, but I guess you can get moddelingclay at any hobby/art store. Its pretty cheap as far as I know, payed what corresponds to like 1 dollar for the amount you see in the vid, so its not expensive and shouldn't be hard to find if you know where to look. In Denmark we use that type of clay for christmas decorations and its not very expensive at all.

  • what size animal do you think this could kill?

  • man these pellets will fuck your shit up

  • How many joule?

  • Shows the true power of a gamo.

  • how soft is the clay? i found the best pellets for expansion were the crosman destroyers and the gamo tomahawks. the crosmans inverted into a cone and the tomahawks little lip opened to around two and a half of its original diameter. however thats at around 880 ft pr second roughly. this would probably not happen in a bird or other small animal.

  • excelente!!!

  • the second one would probably explode in the head of a wood pigeon!

  • i have a request that you test some of the crosman premier pellets if you have time.. (im too lazy.)i would like to see the difference between the results. thanks.

  • niessssss

  • Great test. The clay shows penetration depth and the shock cavity created too. The best hunting pellets are the ones you find to be most accurate in your gun. After that a good combination of penetrating ability and shock effect (depending on target species and range). You want a pellet to transfer its energy to the target, if it passes all the way through some energy is wasted. For softer/smaller targets at close range a wadcutter may be a good choice

  • now that is a penetration test

  • great clip, thx

  • Man, use the Predator Polymags.

    And btw, whats "Pellet Expansion?"

  • the gamo pellets with the skirt with lines on it are bad quality

cuz they fail 20% of the time in my daisy 901

    i prefer H&N and crosman

    but gamo is cheap

  • Id least want to get shot with the super-h-point that crap fragments lol second one had some amazing mushrooming though damn that cud do some damage

  • Great vid

  • gamo PBA is not the best pellet on the market. It's fast but not accurate. I have done balistic gel tests and the pba has good penetration. But as far as knock down power it would be the predator balitic tip and the rws super h point and very very accurate.

  • Thanks for such a great pellet test. Now I know what to buy for hunting

  • I like the Gamo Match pellet

  • to people below, dry firing causes seal on piston to smash, in some cases urathane pieces come through chamber hole, eventually tearing up seal, so it needs resistance.

  • great video, the gamo wadcut is like daisy"s, a very soft lead so it expands nice for a wadcutt. there is different hardness scales on lead, and crosman is the harder pellets so they dont mushroom much. antimony in the lead may have an effect on its hardness scale. try skenco, they penetrate and tumble and tear through

  • .49g the best

  • nice . but whitch one is greatest for long rane like about 100m to 200m

  • Gamo 440 Cal 4.5 is good rifle..

  • cool vid,

i did similar tests with a phonebook :D (my airgun is Baikal MP-512) and just like in your video, the Gamo Pro Magnum pellet had the most penetration (went in about 280 pages). On the other hand, Gamo Pro Match went in only about 110 pages :)

  • Awesome video. Thanks for putting this up. Id like to see a test of the Gamo PBA pellets.

  • So the Magnums were the best for penetration? I gotta pick some up and try it out. Thanks, cool vid.

  • Musique Name Plizzz

  • @samymarrakech AC/DC- rock'n roll train

  • i love the way you tested this .great vid

  • if i whant to break thing with my pellet gun i should use flat nosed pelets for more damage right??

  • not sure cuz the flat or hollow point pellets are expanding more so if u shoot a pigeon with the rws super h point for example with a gun that shoots about 300ms (1000 fps) then u destroy more of the flesh and meet in the bird and u might also brake bones and in a bird the bones splinter into needles that hurt if u eat it but then if u use it for rats and mice then if u hit in head or hear area u might blow the head off or if u dont hit the heart u will make a blast so that it gets a heartattack

  • black ice!!!

  • perfect video!!!

  • is it bad for my gamo 440 to be fired without a pellet in it? plzreply 2me guys!

  • Itcan damage the spring in the rifle if there is no resistance by airpressure in the chamber, so yes, it can be bad, but if you have only donet once or twice, then the damage should be limited.

  • thanx i wont eva do that again!

damn i hope i havent damaged my gamo 440 by shooting it without a pellet!

i only dun it 4 times though!

  • @gewizz2 no

  • if you are hunting birds or rabbits or other pests use flat nosed pellets. Use them because they dont go deep but they do a hell of a lot of damage. For snakes use pointed pellets because they need to penetrate the scaly skin.

  • Pro Magnum the best!! I use it with my shadow XD

  • Excellent work, very well done. Thanks for taking the time to post such an informative performance test.

  • wtf are you shooting at, it looks and sounds hilarious

  • clay lol

  • best pellet test ive seen

  • dude nice vid i like it 5 stars

  • @MrAirgunlover

oh and Predator Polymags are always worth a try. sorry, forgot bout those lol. yes, predator polymags are always worth trying. if they're accurate, use those. there is no pellet quite like em. (except for the Gamo Red Fire... Gamo just HAD to copy off JSB.)

  • @MrAirgunlover

you might wanna try a domed pellet as well. domed pellets are still quite damaging and as the video shows and carry their energy much better, so they can be shot at much further ranges. try Beeman Field Target Specials and JSB Exacts. if that doesn't work, RWS Superdomes are a good choice too. also, Crosman Premiers are good to try. those 4 pellets are top notch pellets. google em. one of em is bound to be accurate. what gun do you have, btw?

  • @MrAirgunlover

25 yards is kinda pushing it. i wouldn't go further than 20 yards with those. however, if you keep the game close, you can get some good kills. wadcutters should be treated like hollowpoints. they do the same thing. they should both be shot at close ranges or they won't be accurate.

  • I love the way you set up your test...the clay shows how energy was dispersed and the overall penetration of the Pellet.

    5/5

  • awesome video. it must have cost you some cash for the materials. if you do another video. try the rws hypermax pellets too. I bought some and I am wondering how they stack up against other pellets. Again, Excellent video!

  • what the hell is that brown stuff your chooting into it cant be foam the holl is way to big?!?!?!

  • it says in the begining its clay

  • game is better. But a pellet that actually makes it threw the prey is better than one that just gets in 1inch...

  • That depends on the size of the game, but in general, a bullet is most effective, when it achieves to expend all the energy in the target, that means not going all the way through.

  • nice

  • obvious the best one is the gamo pellets

  • Before the HailStorm of shit rains down on me i have to say a few things.

First very nice video 5 stars.

Second i think you should have done Gamo PBA since its the "Best" Pellet on the market.

Third are you using the same clay after every shot? Wouldnt that make it weaker allowing pellets prior to each shot pass easier. Im not telling you to go spend $100 on clay or what ever for a youtube vid.

    Thanks for the Upload!!

    -DJ

  • You are right about the clay, it's just a matter of how far you are willing to go with it, but as long as there no major airbubbles in the clay, it doesn't have that much to say. My test is not perfect and only gives a visual presentation of the individual pellets performance. If I decide to make another upload, I will get of hold the PBA pellets as well. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

  • You could possibly try different distances such as inclines like shooting a target in a tree vice versa.

  • try predator poly mags if you can

  • @Lammedreng try and wear gloves when u reform the clay as your hands absorb a lot more moisture than you think and cud affect the hardness of the clay skewing the results

  • @brysonwilliams70 I already did and you are right. The more times I re-used the clay, the harder and more dry it seemed to get, but not to a degree that affected the overall display too much

  • I wouldn't try pba pellets, they really don't have much purpose. Also, they can't expand..making them worthless to try in an expansion test.

  • It is also a penatration test. I would like to see what they do to the inside of the clay. I iknow it would be similar to the gamo pro mag but i would still like to see.

  • jenial es muy bueno el video!!!!!!

    bery god video!!!!!

  • muito legal!!

  • very nice 5 stars ;-)

  • Great vid man

  • Great video. Here are a few pellets I'd like to see tested in .177 cal if you decide to make another video. Gamo 5.4 grain PBA, Diablo Exact 10.2 grain domed, Gamo TS-10 16 grain domed, Beeman Kodiak Double Gold 10.65 grain, and lastly Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum 10.5 grains round-nose. Hit me up if you get another video up. Good stuff

  • @beaconstructs what about gamo expander too? :) greetings

  • Ya for sure that too. Those just some heavy pellets I am thinking about putting through my Socom Extreme

  • GR8 choice of song!

  • u should have tested pba ammo also.

  • i wouldn't want to get in the way of the first one

  • mine is a killer combo bigcat 1200 with rws long range high hyper velocity penatrattes everythin i possibly shoot including a fat 24 chapter book 250 + pages quarter away shots = deadly accuracy + deadly penatraion hunted a fat ass deer 1 shot!

  • you need a more dense clay and abt 1/3 of the length with a metal plate at the end that way you can test the tearing of the hollowpoints once they expand and how the pointed tips pierce and then when they hit a solid the skirts plume like a hollowpoint and cause more internal damage

  • Well done

  • rly nice test.

  • Great test, great test. Congratulations.

  • hey wat kind of clay is that and where can i get it

  • i have a rugar 1000fps blackhawk and i ONLY use gamo match. every shot is as good as my scope is sighted in. i really liked this video with the clay! next time show that REALLY expenseve ammo...the 25% more speed stuff....thanks a bunch BART

  • @ elbarto138

what kind/power of scope do you use on your gun?

  • what is the gray thing is it clay ??

  • AC/DC ftw

  • Great Balistic visual video!! Post more when you can!

I use the RWS Super-H-Points all the time. Stops squirrels immediately (very humane kills).

I have to say, the super h point is ALSO extremely acurate at long distances. I was hitting paintballs at 50 yards one by one with them. VERY consistant!!!

  • i would say secound gama one would do most damage look the size of the whole

  • aaah you are an acdc fan! I love acdc and airguns ! xD

  • more pellet tests like this!!

  • and........ what about gamo expander pellet, and the information of the airgun and distance of shot? thanks...... good job please do the test for gamo expander

  • I have not been able to find any stores where they sell the Gamo Expanders in Denmark yet. If you read the discription in the beginning, the distance and info about the airgun is already there

  • haaaa it's ok (gamo hunter 440) but de distance? i can't find it. i have the gamo expander pellets but it's in cal 5.5 and my airgun is a Diana magnun 350 classic.

i will do the same test for cal 5.5 to complete the test with each of the types of pellets

  • Nice, try posting it as a response to this video

  • Conclusion: Match pellets with flat front are the best for energy output for short distance kills. Pellts with round front are good for long distance kills.

  • hahahaha you wascally wabbit

  • veramente un lavoro ben fatto.

  • that is awesome!!! cool idea man!

  • put the pellet backwards

    it expands a lot more

  • why would you wnat to put the pellets backwards,no one does that, well you do by the sounds of it

  • hey what did yo use to cut the clay in half

  • Just a piece of thin fishingline - goes like butter!

  • a guitar string wraped around 2 wooden dowels on each side for handles works great

  • woah that match expansion was awesome!

  • great review! i have also found that the hollowpoints dont expand much, the just fall apart. i was surprised to see the expansion of the flatheaded pellets. 5/5 stars

  • Did you realy think that these different-weight bullets has the sane speed? 305 m/s - it's for commercial purposes only :) And you beleived that! Buy a cronograph!

The typical speed of the 0,52 g bullet like gamo match is 230-270 m/s, matters the spring and cup condition and many other factors,. such as barrel's tightness ets

  • I know, but as it happens, I don´t have a chronograph and I don´t see no reason to invest in one, so I just used the value given by the company

  • THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL VIDEO THANKS

  • that gamo is badass i saw your vid shooting the beer can / apple / clay the holes you made in the clay are ridiculous man

  • wow great video very creative!

  • congratulations! very nice, creative and organized video!

  • magnum is the best... it got thru and caused wide surface damage...

  • Hell yea for the Gamo Match pellets! that baby blew that clay open!

Remember guys, for hunting, you want energy transfer, not just penetration, so don't go for the pointed pellet gimmick!

  • el promagnum

  • bitch ass

  • where do guys get this clay

  • its regular clay i think

  • this will clearly show how Air Rifles Are Not Toys.

Such a wound on a human would really ruin one's day.

  • hey you should make one of the predator polymag pellets

  • Nice video and very nice music!!!

  • cool that really shows a lot! i like how u show the pellets that you recover from the clay.

  • dam nice video

  • pro magnum won! the only pellet that went all the way through the clay!

  • i'd say it lost, for small game you want energy transfer, not penetration. however for larger stuff like raccoons and fox, yeah it won.

  • yeah

but still the hole from the magnum was huuuuge!

  • haha i prefer magnums, not only do they hit hard but they are very accurate in high powered rifles.

  • Nice video. Over long-range, I was wondering which pellet was the most stable and accurate in flight.

  • Probably some of the heavier pellets, personally I would stick with the Gamo Pro Magnums

  • you should try the crosman premier ultra magnums, they are 10.5gr and prduce 1/2in group at 30-40 meters

  • heavy, and round/domed head pellets are the best for long range.

  • 0:32 looks nasty

  • That is so informative for us real hunters , you get to see the expansion and transfer of kinetic energy that creates the wound channel.

    TOP VIDEO

  • Nice video good info! I wish it showed some accuracy!

  • Nice video!!!

    thank you!

  • you love shooting your clay =-)

  • Hm, ironically, that blunt one had most penetration :P

  • thanks this is a very nice video ..,keep up the good work

    video of the day!!

  • what pellets would you recomend for a gamo viper?

  • very good 5 *

  • can u get at michaels or somthing
