"Mean Mean Jemima" and "Friends Are Hard to Find" are two of Molland's finest songs, and in my opinion they stand with any other Badfinger song out there. It's tragic that they always get overlooked.
To buy some time, Joey followed "Midnight Caller" with his solo performance of "Sweet Tuesday Morning". The drums were still not quite set after that song's completion so Joey started a short impromptu solo version of Clapton's "Shape You're In" which led into "Mean Jemima" with the full band.
There were some technical difficulties that night, most notably the sound dropping out briefly during the previously uploaded "Should I Smoke". Shortly after that, the band began playing "Midnight Caller" and 1/3 of the way through the song, the drum head broke. As the band continued the song sans drums, John scurried about looking for a replacement. (cont)
Recorded on July 14, 2001 in downtown Cincinnati, OH. The band was Joey Molland on guitar and vocals, Mark Healey on bass and vocals, John Richardson on drums, Billy Davis on guitar and vocals, and Steve Wozney on keyboards and vocals. (cont)

You know, joey might not have been the catalyst of badfinger in the day,but at least he had the balls to stick life out and wait for better times.
