@Pabarik Harry didn't sign the cheques though. They all just wanted to give Harry the players they wanted, without the financial means to do so. An example of us saying no recently was the potential Van Nistelrooy transfer. He wanted 100,000 a week, and Levy said no. We could afford it, but the club was sensible enough not to break the wage cap.

Managers don't choose how much they have to spend or whether they spend it or not. Its the owners. They told him they would have a new ground and all the money was in place when it wasn't.

No we haven't. They ADVISED Haringey council not to let it go ahead but Haringey said they would let us do it anyway because they don't want as moving to a next door borough. Look up Tottenham stadium in google news and you can see that we have changed our plans slightly to keep the listed buldings so now we have support from the goverments advisors too.
