Looks pretty fun. Just out of curiosity, do you get a lot of "desk jockey" Flight Simulator X "pilots" who think they are God's Gift to Aviation coming in and have to put them in their place? XD
I wouldn't say that we put them in their place, however we do get a lot of people who are pretty used to flying on Flight Sim on their computer who have trouble adjusting to the 'real' controls.
We have crash functionality turned off so that you woll just pass through objects. We do this so that we dont have to reset the simulation and eat into a customers flying time.
It is a fixed base simulator. You get a good feeling of motion from the graphics alone. It is not a home built simulator. It is a professional machine that has been certified by CASA (Civil Aviation and Safety Authority) for pilots to use for Instrumentation Training and Recency Testing.
I would be the best teenaged- pilot they would ever have come in. I have flight simulator 2004. The airport that they are landing at is 1 out of the ten most difficult airports to land at.
No, I'd be the best....not only do i have every FS that microsoft have brought out, but I have my Student Pilot's Licence and will have my PPL by mid this year.....only 16 too
She got it wrong, it's Civil Aviation Safety Authority, not Civil Aviation and Saftey Authority. Also, how could she even think of crashng into a building or buildings? Good thing Paul set her straight on that
futurevirginpilot, Louise was simply asking the same question that many of our customers ask. It was our way of educating customers that we dont allow them to use the simulator to crash into things.
AWESOME
