Yes @5757 it is sound activated so it will even react to you talking but you can adjust the sensibility. If you are at a party or club and it's too loud then just lower the sensibility all the way down cause if you keep it all the way up and the music is too loud then the image will be completely light up and wont flash to the beat of the music. And it is washable but only hand wash cause it can't support too much heat. And you have to be carfull that you don't rip the cables.
