Does the Genius Mark Hanson has a transcription of this as you played it?...Tommy Emmanuel Style BASS LINES - make Carlos Barbosa Lima's jaw to drop ...he..he..he...
You Got It!!!...BRAVO...Now, i do anything to get the 'sheetmusic'...whatever it takes....
bravo! you make the melody notes ring out over the boogie accompaniment very well. i've been learning this piece for a while now but not as well as you. good inspiration. i also like Mark Hanson's arrangements a lot. I like his original yet tastefull ideas and they sound great on a good accoustic guitar.
I know how you feel. I'm trying to learn this song right now. I thought that the 2 month headstart would help me get it before christmas but that doesn't seem to be the case.
where do you get your thumbpicks? its like there invisible but stil pack a punch are they tight against your thumb? your a great player with an even greater guitar.
I use Fred Kelly thumbpicks. This particular one is orange. I like them better than the standard Dunlops, which for some reason tend to catch on the strings (though I have to admit that the Dunlops are more comfortable). Thanks for the compliments by the way!
Wow!! That was a rocking performance! As for me, I think I'll be sticking with Mark Hanson's E-Z version of Jingle Bells for a looooooong time! Thanks for sharing :)
I think Tommy would be proud! Nice job. I have been struggling with the whole fingerpicking the highs while performing a nice walking bass line. So next up on your list is a rendition of classical gas....? HA good luck!!! oh and bravo, encore!!!!
Wow! bravo,I can't stop playing it it.Great,great .......

Thanks for the kind words. I no longer have the sheet music for that piece, so I'm afraid I can't help you there! It's in Mark Hanson's book though.
