YOu need to understand two things:  They live in poverty because they cannot acquire the basics as nobody seems to understand the stuff that brought them to this point. CHinese people are more generous in their home country and will help any poor person on the street with their yuan than here in Canada.or the USA.

I've seen hundreds of people like this in China...at least people can film it now and post it on-line to draw attention to the suffering in China that the government tries to hide.

yeh is saw so many people poverty in china.

There were children with kidney probalems and their parents didnt have enough money for a cure.

There were many people dirty and in on dirty floors on the sidewalk with buckets beging for money.

It was really sad for me.

We care about stuff like we want things like candy, nerf guns and video games and other stuff. while those poor people just need water and food cause they have nothing.

Our government is to be blamed. It is corrupted and mundane. I am frustrated. Who are the victims? The poor and the needy who number in millions and millions. The little lands left are confiscated by the local governments for their business partners. There are now no jobs and the government is not doing anything to help the poor. The rich will make profit from the bail out money. It is time that we the ordinary citizens should have a voice in how the government makes the decision and who runs it

lol I heard from my friend in big cities in china, people quit they're office job and pretend to be homeless on the street. In one day they can earn 1-2k RMB which is alot. They look for areas with tourist lol.
