i got priiloader working, but when i go to system menu hacks, i get an error message "Couldn't find any hacks for system menu v385". from what that message says, i guessed it was because my wii is on v.3.4 right now, with no apparant way to go to 4.1 because i have no internet for my wii right now so the updater doesn't work. is there some way around this, or will i have to try to get internet on my wii?

@ZoraOMG Nooo u just have to search menu hacks and it should come up as something you can download. put that onto the priiloader folder. Now load it >:) It should work

I heard in the forums that installing the latest patched-ios60 before installing preloader in 4.1 will brick your wii, they say that you should install a non-patched ios60 before installing preloader, they say that preloader 0.29 should be installed first(to automatically patch ios60) then install preloader 0.30 but what I'm confused in is there a specific version to a non-patched ios60? or is it just simply called plain ios60?

Nope for some reason when I turned my Wii off and then on again for the second or third time the Preloader menu came up but when I selected the System Menu Hacks the screen goes blank and then the Preloader Menu appears again... What do I do or what have I done wrong?

When I install Preloader it finishes the installation but then it just takes me back to the Homebrew Channel menu. Then I restart my Wii manually and I dont know where to go from there, although I have tried going to the Homebrew channel and selecting Preloader again but it just takes me to the same install screen. HELP! :(

I did everything to the point of putting it in the WII, opened up Neogamme R b47  and tried loading up the disk, and got: err(1208), disk ID so i know i missed a step, and i'm likely going to need this explained 10-20 times before i get it, or maybe one or two. so i am watching the videos maybe i'll figure out what happened, but in the meantime i could use a pm on how to do this? i'll check other comments too, but live is better

Hi, I am having a little bit of trouble. I have followed all the steps up to installing the preloader. When I click load, it takes me to the priiloader rew 32 (preloader v0.30 mod) Installation / Removal Tool page.

It says Press (+) to install or update Priiloader. But the wiimote has now lost connection to the wii and the wii is stuck, none of the power or reset buttons work. To restart I have to remove psu and plug back in. Have tried many times all with same result?

@luique52 I think I had the same problem just now. What I did was turn the system off and back on and went straight to the priiloader again. My installer had an option to hold b and then + and that's what I did (just for the sake of trying something different) and it worked.

@JaneAlbert yes i am sure. Wii games are not encrypted as well as xbox games so they cannot tell. I tried it myself along with many others who never had a problem with it.

A couple of quick questions. Can you access the internet with this set up or do you have to leave wiiconnect off? Also, can you burn and play gamecube isos as well? Can you use multiples from one disc ? (Neogama seems to have that option but I'm not sure). Anyways this was a great guide, worked perfectly.

Ok that error is for your disk drive. You need to update your Wii to 4.1 like I showed in the video. If you have any questions on how to do it reply back. Go to part one for softmodding and its at the end.

I Installed the same as your video, from the green block set up, I could not find any hacks in the open hack option, and on the install to 4.1 the page just hangs there, do I need it to be connected to the internet to update to 4.1. I loaded in the 5 files, which inluded the gama file, will I be able to play copies without having enabled to 2 hacks on priiloader? thanks. If all else fails, would I be able to delete files off sd card, and reaply the whole setup procedure again?

yes to update to 4.1 you do need to be be connected to the internet on your wii. It does take a while so be patient. You can play the backup games without the priilodaer hacks. If it fails you can restart by deleting everything off your sd card

@birdaldo Than you didn't put all the files on your sd card right or you skipped a step in installing something. If you can't figure out what you did wrong than skip the preiiloader step because it is optional but highly recommended.
