these were the times that regine sang clean, her manager then Mr. Ronny henares made it a point that singing the song clean is her priority rather than juz belting out the hign notes regardless how clean she sang it..which happens to b the case now, it seems ms Regine juz belts out the high notes without even thinking if she is singing it the right way...

@cinqoctaves I think all singers eventually changed their voices and control in years same as Whitney, Mariah, Celine because they aged... But Regine was just trying to still sing the high notes in its best and don't want to lower it because she was known by her filipino fans in that way of singing since she entered the music industry. Although i also prefer her in her earlier years than now but i still admire her same way dat i admire Mariah, Celine and Whitney evn if they weren't as good as b4

The best version of somewhere. Her feminity was evidently showcased on this must see performance. It was very subtle and yet powerful and was perfectly delivered with much ease. The transition at the end of the song; from a very high pitch to a whispering sound was an out of this world experience from the people who were lucky enough to witness her majestic voice. Awesome!
