I know it's a bit sad that there are Germany, UK, Spain, Italia, Schweiz, Belgium so close and many people don't know how to speak at least 3 languages, but you should know most of french people here know 2 languages at least. So it's not THAT bad, compared to the USA... just an example among many others.

TGV in the old days used to be powered by Jet Turbine using the turbo engine for the train but after the Oil chrises they turn this jet train into electrified train. which is greener, faster, and better.

You already have it, it's the Acela train in the North-Eastern corridor. The problem is that it runs on regular tracks with conventional trains so it can't be exploited to its full potential. I believe California is now building a whole new high speed infrastructrure from San Diego up to SFO.

Film is taken in first class and with 160 km/h of speed so Nice has only a 160 km/h trace.

And yes, tomorrow again to paris. Only by car I win 2 hours of travel time as I take that nice train in Bruxelles.
