afghanistan has never lost a war to an invader, and there were stronger enemies in history then us, i consider alexander the great the strongest conquerer and the closest one to conquer afghanistan there ever been.
however it DOES NOT look good if u wanna talk with taliban after claiming to kill them all.

there were majority ppl who supported nato in the beginning, however bombing of civilists, house raids arrogant behaviour of americans, and supporting warlords which aint better then taliban aswell as putting them in political positions shrink those numbers ever since...
now those ppl consider usa and nato at most a lesser evil then the taliban, all u need to turn them to taliban is shootin or bombin another of their friends or family members.

acytually from what people in afghanistan know of, the people there are neither pro taliban or pro nato, theyre just trying to get by, the taliban bully and intimidate locals into giving them shelter, food, money etc etc, the locals know that if there was no taliban, there would be no war. So progress is being made, slowly but surely.

They do house rades bombings without any permission from afghani gov...in addition especially among americans the soldiers are bunch of poor uneducated ppl who were given powerfull guns, they act just like taliban.
as i said at first majority was on nato/us side, but its changing due to americans rude behaviour and incompetency at war.
