  • Excellent wow... however the song is called Prison of Love not Prisoner of Love

  • The other guitarist is one of Robben's brothers??

  • i don't know why but i know. any other guitarist playing on little Robben side just sound very mediocre to me.

I would not say that Robben Ford is my fav musician in every aspect but boys, no one plays the electric blue guitar with more completeness sense of tempo and style -he is going to be studied for the next 100 years or so -he developped it all keeping touch with roots.

  • All true.....

  • That drummer is Robben's older brother Pat. He's a great blues drummer, owner/operator of Blue Rock'it Records & one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Plus he kicks it!!

Volker Strifler on 2nd guitar...burns it!

  • I only like the cd version guitar solo for this song, in no one live performance catch that feeling again...

  • this is my most fav. from Robben

    I love it....

    thanks for upload

  • Hulk Hogan on drums apparently...

  • I am an accomplished guitarist....learning to play

Blues Harp is inspiration by such displays.........!

  • Whooo!! that harp sounds like a string instrument!! i never heard anyone play the harmonica like that!!

  • Holy shit Mark is blowin' some serious harp on this one, wow.

  • That's Volker Striffler on the Les Paul and I saw him with his band at the Monterey Blues Festival a couple of years ago. They were my favorites that weekend!

A surprise seeing Robben playing thru a Super Reverb rather than his Dumble.

  • the greatest, this is the full blue guitar

  • Totally AWESOME! The harp solo is fucking brilliant!

  • Гитарист лажает)))

  • Blues in the veins, blues in the genes, blues in the blood... that's the Fords.

  • I couldn't agree more with these comments on Mark Ford's harp. Lord! Blues music, lots of it, has been a big part of my listening diet since I was in high school 40 years ago - and I don't know if I've ever, ever heard a more beautifully constructed and executed solo.

  • I've been listening to these guys for 30+ years, and I love Robbens playing, but I don't understand why Mark doesn't get more attention. He really is one of the great blues harp players... Volker (the other guitar player-Berk Lee) is fun to listen to as well...

  • Yeah the Mark Ford harp solo was mind melting. Also dug the Robben lick starting at the 5:08 mark. The cat on the Les Paul kicked ass too.

  • I can't find a recorded version of this song.. Anyone know where I can find it?

  • Hey dude, this song is from the Robben Ford & The Blue Line album

  • Thanks for the info...

  • Incredible falls short. But nails it good enough. About time. Thanks so much for coming out with more stuff. You are such a pleasure to listen to. Groovin and flying by the seat of your pants. Thanks for taking me along.

This will save me a round trip from Hawaii. Can't afFORD it anyway!

Awesome solos. Just what the doc ordered.

    More please...

  • Mark, I hope you never stop playing in my life time!!!
