i don't know why but i know. any other guitarist playing on little Robben side just sound very mediocre to me.
I would not say that Robben Ford is my fav musician in every aspect but boys, no one plays the electric blue guitar with more completeness sense of tempo and style -he is going to be studied for the next 100 years or so -he developped it all keeping touch with roots.
That drummer is Robben's older brother Pat. He's a great blues drummer, owner/operator of Blue Rock'it Records & one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Plus he kicks it!!

That's Volker Striffler on the Les Paul and I saw him with his band at the Monterey Blues Festival a couple of years ago. They were my favorites that weekend!
A surprise seeing Robben playing thru a Super Reverb rather than his Dumble.

I couldn't agree more with these comments on Mark Ford's harp. Lord! Blues music, lots of it, has been a big part of my listening diet since I was in high school 40 years ago - and I don't know if I've ever, ever heard a more beautifully constructed and executed solo.
I've been listening to these guys for 30+ years, and I love Robbens playing, but I don't understand why Mark doesn't get more attention. He really is one of the great blues harp players... Volker (the other guitar player-Berk Lee) is fun to listen to as well...
Incredible falls short. But nails it good enough. About time. Thanks so much for coming out with more stuff. You are such a pleasure to listen to. Groovin and flying by the seat of your pants. Thanks for taking me along.
This will save me a round trip from Hawaii. Can't afFORD it anyway!
Excellent wow... however the song is called Prison of Love not Prisoner of Love
