What a beautiful job you did with this lovely piece. I have tried my best to find sheet music for it with no luck so far. I've just about resigned myself to learning it by ear. At least now we have your recording of the entire five pages instead of only the small portion of the piece used in the film! Thank you for sharing. You play beautifully.

@wwestonn This piece was in the movie, but not the *entire* piece as this pianist played. The part that was used in the movie starts at about 4:11 in this video. The composer was Gabriel Yared, who also composed the film score.

One of my favourite movies. But in the English Subtitles, they translated "Sonate vom guten Menschen" wrong. It is not "Sonata for a good man", but "Sonate about a good man".

@eltfell Actually, since vom is the short form of von + dem, a correct translation of "Die Sonata vom Guten Menschen" would be "The Sonata of the good people"

@realRadiantThunder Not in this case. "Von dem" or "von dem" has two meanings: "Of", "from" and "about". The meaning "about" is quite old fashioned German, but this is, what is meant here.
