i've noticed that quarantine and kill theme as well. have you seen trailer for the remake of "the day the earth stood still"? it's fucking scary. and not hollywood scary...i watch a lot of horror. im talking REAL LIFE scary.
when I saw this video I got a strong mental image of george bush, liam gallagher, and emperor palpatine all sitting around the illuminati round table plotting the demise of the free world.

Makes a lot of sense there was "prophecy" in Hollywood considering that 9/11 was a media job.
What disturbs me is that there is now a theme of quarantine and kill in Hollywood movies these days.
