  • LMAO @ 2:34 "And.... there I go"

  • hi, please can you replie, how much is it of ebay, what to search in ebay and i just got a brand new macbook pro do i need to install anything else or play straight away?

  • does he know u can ads?

  • I have a 27inch Imac quad core intel i5 1TB harddrive and 4gb of ram (it says it supports up to 16gb whatever that means) Anyway if I install bootcamp will it play my pc games like kotor2 and will I be able to use Mods for my pc games. I also plan to buy guild wars 2, so how much space will be needed of gb and will it work on my imac? thanks for helping.

  • Please answer :) Does the Windows thing give your iMac virus? Someone please answer, i would be thankfull. (From DK)

    Alexander Zafra

  • @SuperAZE15 nop. Unless you specifically visit dodgy websites and/or install dodgy software.

  • @theunits3 What exactly is that? "Dodgy"

Can you send a link were it is safe?

BTW thank you so mutch for replying :)

  • @SuperAZE15 dodgy as in installing porn or files your unaware of. I would suggest going down the legit route i.e. purchasing MW2 (its pretty cheap on ebay). No probs :D

  • dude in the beggining you are clicking the fuck out of that mouse!

  • Is gaming good on mac??

  • Is it just your recording software or is it the actual game that gives it that somewhat slight choppy look?

  • if it runs this good on the 4850 imagine on the 6770 or even the 6970

  • I don't see the point of mac.. really.. Microsoft Windows is WAY cheaper and performs even better if not even.

  • @LAZrailkapinda It's basically a way for rich people to say they're rich and dumb at once.

  • @jeehoondevil

You just made my day !

    Thanks :D

  • @LAZrailkapinda windows top of the line OS is 200, mac top of the line OS is 29. the reason mac hardware is expensive is because it uses top of the line hardware. try getting a pc as good as the mac for "way cheaper" than the mac.

  • @dude4104200

I did some research.. Also .. a virus is harder to catch on a MAC since almost every virus is written for Windows.. But still.. it's so expensive .. :'(

  • @dude4104200 Apple is more expensive because of the name. The Hardware is the same. You can get build a top notch PC with branded RAMs that has exactly the same power as any Mac for half the price, that's a fact. Apple Notebooks are even worse, their hardware is mostly way behind. And you get no HDMI, ESATA, PCMCIA.

You pay for the style and the looks in Apple. The glossy monitors are bad for graphical work and you cannot even adjust the monitors in height. So much for an ergonomical workspace.

  • @BlubBlob plus you can easily download mac software fore free

  • HI, CAN U PLZ TELL ME WAT IS THE GAME NAME BUDDY? N ALSO WHICH OS U R USING TO PLAY THIS GAME MAC OS OR WINDOWS...THANKS

  • @bollywood21m

    LOL you fail..

  • @bollywood21m It is Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2... -.-

  • It's funny cos all the pc fats came on and belittled the mac community for being stupid for using macs,, oxymoron overload!!!!

  • Lol for mue :P

  • I suppose you were not gaming with an apple mouse...

  • @gtr772 Because videogames.

  • Have fun upgrading.

Replacing the hard drive is going to be an adventure, macfag.

  • Gaming? On a Mac? Dohohohoh. Shouldn't you be photoshopping images of deckchairs and black and white photography?

  • >iMac

    >overpricedshit

    >gaming on it

    >why.avi

  • @rossidude Because i dont understand how to use a regular fucking computer

  • Haha yeah you fell on the iceclimbing part, because you have to rightclick to get up. ;)

  • >Modern Warfare 2

    >Mac

    >Gaming

    Oh, please

  • @LordOfCookies123 >Implying you can greentext on youtube

  • First video I ever watch of yours, see ads, instantly subscribe.

    Problem, adhaters?

  • Would the i3 model still be good for games?

  • AIM DOWN YOUR SIGHTS!!

  • *cinematic* *click click click click click* -.-

  • you can not play this game

  • dude i idolize ur vids

  • Im a long time PC user and I just switched over and bought the iMac i5 27". All I can say is that you really feel like youve got something special. Ive never been more excited and blown away with a computer as I am with this. If Gaming is the main reason youre buying a computer a PC will Still be your best bet for obvious reasons. If you want super quality, no crashes, no viruses and the most pleasant computer experience YOU NEED a Mac. These things are built like tanks.

  • Your videos are really superb . I watched your all videos from beginning.

  • @aniketroxx thanks mate, very much appreciated. Hope they were of help :D

  • @aniketroxx i know yeah his vids are awsome

  • what's your gamertag on Xbox?

  • this looks like shit

  • @jerm1027 - Compare this whole Mac vs PC to cars: You can have a great performance for way much less spended(?) money in your customized (tuned) car (PC) but still drivin Porshe Cayenne Turbo (Mac) will give you much more pleasure (if you're not looking for speed/performance only). That's all about this. It looks like that for me (and I'm PC user (for not too long anymore i hope)). Peace.

  • "Full specs of the iMac are in the description" no they're not

  • @shaun2312 My bad. iMac 27" Quad Core i5 (2.6ghz), 4GB ram, 1tb hdd, ATI 4670 graphics.

  • @theunits3 what i5 exactley ?

  • @theunits3 its 2.7ghz

  • He looks like that dude from Lost a bit lol

  • And that's Indians and Russians can't go to war.

  • I will never understand Mac users... Windows has more software, "pc"'s have cheaper and better hardware, and Linux has security and performance over Mac OS... So why use a Mac? I mean my computer will wipe the floor with that mac and it's not even a high end gaming rig! I only spent $720 on my rig (granted I salvaged peripherals from the old computer). How much did you spend on that iMac? And what do you have that I don't have (aside from cosmetics)?

  • @jerm1027 typical PC user. Solely focusing on 'quantity'. Ever heard of the express... its not about 'quantity', its about 'quality'? This is where Apple comes in. Need I say more :D

  • @theunits3 - You do. Apple hardware comes from Foxconn. They aren't renown for their quality... Also Mac OS can't hold a candle to Ubuntu in performance, nor security (yet alone a specialized distro of Linux), and Windows as more *open-sourced* software than Mac *has* software. What's great about Mac again? The only conceivable argument I can think of is "it's shinier" . -_-

  • @jerm1027 i'll make this simple for you. Apple hardware + Apple software = will make you cum.

  • @theunits3 - fail... I find anything apple as repulsive. Their hardware sucks, their software sucks, and their cosmetics (imo) suck as well. There is nothing attractive about macs. Their software doesn't do much (windows ranks much higher in productivity as well as entertainment), and it is bloated with a cocoa-written GUI. I haven't even heard of cocoa before a few months ago! And don't get me started on the iPhone/iPad.

  • @jerm1027 hmmm, fail on your part. Sit back for one moment, no seriously and think about this. Why are Mac sales increasing year-on-year? Why are iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad units flying out the door? I wonder why. Doesn't take a scientist to work it out. You have problems which you need to get checked out.

  • @theunits3 Agreed. Some people can be so ignorant. There's a difference between "overpriced" and "expensive." Macs are expensive, but they generally aren't overpriced. People often forget about the things Macs have that their "equivalent" PC at half the price doesn't have - FireWire 800, built-in Wireless-N, IPS monitors, etc. The 27" iMac uses the same panel as the Dell U2711 monitor, which on its own costs $1049. $950 isn't bad for a Core i5-760 machine with a Radeon 5750 in a stylish case.

  • @Ssj7CronoLook at that , putting quality PC components in a stylish aluminum case with a high quality monitor costs just as much as the Mac - even slightly more. I'm sure someone will say, "but my 24" TN panel monitor for $179 is fine," or "I can get this ECS motherboard for $82," but that's irrelevant. The point is that Apple DOES use high quality IPS panels and high quality components. If anyone really can build an equivalent PC for significantly less, I'd like to see it.

  • @theunits3 I just bought a 27-inch iMac and I love it. I mainly bought it since it had a nice screen. I have yet to see someone build a PC based machine with almost identical parts, including monitor, as the 27-inch iMac for half the price.

  • @theunits3 he is just arguin cause he can't buy it he is jealous ;)

  • @YemBeats ;)

  • @jerm1027 dude you're just jealous you cant afford it.. and if you hate macs SOOOOO much WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU WATCHING A VIDEO ON IT?!..

  • @Ru55ianGrim - Yeah... I'm so jealous of a computer that has less functionality and is slower than the computers I already own... And the only reason why I watched it is because youtube recommended it.

  • @jerm1027 if youtube recommends you to kill your self im guessing you would do it

  • @Ru55ianGrim YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THAT ! respect ! :)

  • @jerm1027 Personally I like my Macbook over any Windows or Linux running computer because of the multitouch trackpad, which to my knowledge isn't offered on the other platforms with an experience as good as the Macbook's, and I like the simplicity of Mac OS X. Now to be honest, I think Windows 7 and Ubuntu are great OS-es (I have used both extensively before), but I personally find OS X to be more user friendly.

  • @miceblue425 Thank you for the legitimate argument! My question to you is is the mutli-touch track pad and simplicity (I think Ubuntu is pretty simple to use) really worth the significant price difference? And does the user friendliness and track pad really outweigh the performance, security, and malleability (customizations) of Ubuntu? Or the software availability of Windows? Or the ability to upgrade the hardware?

  • @jerm1027 In my opinion, no. I barely use the track pad, and the multi-touch features are keyboard shortcuts on Ubuntu, so I don't lose any functionality there. As far as Ubuntu goes, the software center makes it really easy to use, and overall is quite user friendly (Though I do give Mac the edge here). The support forums are also really helpful. Maybe if the prices were about the same, I would understand, but the price just makes macs bad computers, especially if Foxconn manufactures them.

  • @jerm1027 Yeah actually I do have to agree that the price for Apple computers are pretty steep for the internal specs of the computer compared. I don't consider myself a power user, nor a developer, so I don't need a lot of the software that's available, though if you are one, I would recommend Windows or Linux to do the job. I find that the Macbook is a different kind of computing experience, it's not quite the same to use Linux/Windows/Hackintosh with a regular touch pad/software enhancements.

  • @jerm1027 agreed, building a much cheaper system with a phenom ii x4 965 + HD 6850 would tear through anything

  • @theunits3 I agree with you dude & i'm a PC user at the moment. I'm moving over to MAC as soon as I can. Windows has more software but it's the quality of the software that counts. You don't get any where near all the hacks & malicious software PC users get.

  • @jerm1027 Put it this way, security - linux>mac>windows interface - mac > windows > linux (im talking stock i know linux has awesome customisation), Productivity - mac>linux>windows Speed - linux > mac > shit > windows file system organisation ( the main reason its easy to code viruses for windows) mac>linux>windows. but i will give you this buying what you want - linux>windows>mac you can't really customise a mac, but windows only turns out cheaper if you pirate ALL of your software !!!
  • @jerm1027

    1) your talking jiberish 2) if you want you can run Windows on a Mac

  • @louisattfield It's gibberish (learn to spell) to you because you know nothing of computers (in short: you're stupid). 2) Steep price for Macs leave you no money for Windows. Also note that Macs' hardware is inferior to "PC's" and will not be able to run as smoothly. And I quote PC because you apple fan-boys seem to forget that PC stands for Personal Computer (not Windows/Linux computer), and Apple computers *are* personal computers.

  • Damn you suck at mw2 (fps)!! :O

  • good review man

  • lol buy an alienware mac just isnt worth it payin so much more for just some nice design -.-

  • @the2killers typical idiotic mentality

  • @theunits3 lol i have to agree with u, it is an idiotic mentality. why spend like 2500 on an imac? then buy an alienware? lmao, good job explaining imac specs, i might get one soon

  • @theunits3 yeah mac 100%

  • bro read about the mac before u talk shit . it not just nice design. you dont marry a girl just cause she has a nice desgin.

  • Hey man you think World of Warcraft would run fine on this?

  • @theunits3

to get the sound to work you have to install the sound drives from mac

  • omg you suck you cant even get passed the campaign mode. you must suck online!!!!

  • @MATHLEBARBARE You're complaining about a game. Grow some balls and leave your mother's basement.

  • @TyonGera I am complianing about the fact that you can suck a cock instead of being a fatass and try to play mw2. Go play travian fag!

  • @MATHLEBARBARE This is a perfect example of a MW2 faggot.

  • @TyonGera I dont play mw2 anymore you piece of shit, I stoped because of people like you! Go fuck a goat!!!

  • @MATHLEBARBARE Sounds like you're very upset.

    You mad, brah?

  • @MATHLEBARBARE Fighting on the internet is like competing in the special olympics.. if you win you're still a retard..

But lol "go fuck a goat". Bit random..

  • thinking about getting the basic 27" i3, 1 tb one that sells for around $1699 here in the u.s for christmas...would anyone with any background knowledge know that if i used the bootcamp program and tried to run any game on it if it would respond pretty well and be used for a some-what good gaming computer???

    please respond. Thanks!

  • @SweetKooshy Dont know the specs for the i3 but I got the 27 i5 like the one in the video.

    512 of Videoram

    2.66 i5 Quad.

make sure you have 512 video memory for that large display...

  • I never gonna like the mouse of mac... unless they just make a better one..

  • you dont even aim LOL

  • SCOPE SCOP SCOPE!!!

  • scottish?

  • Good for IRA training.

    Brits suck.

  • does your ati 4850 have 512 mb or 1gb?

  • just for understandin you can´t play anythin on i mac without special programm or windows on it? a response would be nice ty :)

  • @Johnny123lotus No, Steam is for Mac now.

  • @Johnny123lotus You can play Mac games (games that are made to work for Mac OS X) in Mac OS X and you can play Windows only games if you're running Windows in Boot Camp. Hope that clears things out.

  • mousebutton2=scope :D

  • @InvaderTakko He is using a magic mouse. He can't scope.

  • have you tried the Multiplayer could i know your ping there and if it really laggs....

    is it a good ping?

or is it bad because: Lack of internet/graphics

does bootcamp use your full system like all the ram and all the graphics or does it decrease it?

  • I just beat Fallout 3 on iMac. I'm playing Oblivion now, but it's boring as shit.

  • is that the highest settings?

  • Gaming has become quite impressive on Apple products.

  • Aim down the fucking sights!

  • @halokon he is using magic mouse.... just one click on games

  • @ajparcell Really? I though it had a right click nowadays? In that case I apologise for swearing, I mean to say "Buy a real mouse and aim down the fucking sights" :P

  • @halokon haha no problem, they do have a right click but u cant hold the right click down whilst clicking with the left as its all one surface on top.

  • @ajparcell Ah, this makes sense!

Does the multi-touch not let you do multiple mouse inputs? I mean, it's not really a deal breaker in that you can just use a normal mouse, but it' still pretty crappy.

  • @halokon yeah u can just get a usb mouse, this is were the argument comes in that macs are made for media based activities, not gaming, but i would still like to know i have spent 1400 quid on a computer i can play a game on haha!

  • Ill pick up windows 7 home premium next week to play mw2 i bought for my previous computer.. does the multiplayer run smoothly?

  • are u persian ?

  • playing on such a big screen must be an incredible feeling....im gettin pretty jealous right now with my 13" mpb pro ;P

  • The sound not working on bootcamp? To be expected? Well... I have played many PC-games on my iMac and I didn't experience any sound issues yet.

But I have experienced it on my Macbook once, and that was because Bootcamp wasn't installed correctly.

Reinstall Bootcamp and everything should work fine!!! :O)

  • How is the response time on the iMac? I've noticed on some larger displays, the response time kinda makes games unplayable (at least with my 24" monitor). Does it feel responsive? No lag or anything?

  • @PogueSquadron Oh yes, its responsive. No lag on my end as you seen from this video. The spec is pretty solid.

  • @theunits3 What video card is in this? Is that 512MB or 1GB? I'm eyeing an i5 iMac and would love the option to play games. I know it may not be a gaming rig but with my 4 year old computer I can't really play any game newer than 2004 haha.

  • @theunits3 That's good to know. The monitor I'm using now is amazing for color (and I might keep it around for working on illustrations and whatnot), but it has about a 12ms response time, which makes any kind of gaming really difficult (like, any game you need to jump, I always jump a moment too late because of the delay).

  • Does GTA IV work on the mac?

  • i like turtles

  • I love max i cant stand any other windows based pc live had three break on me so ive given up on everyhing other than apple

  • you look italian but your scotish? :D

  • What Windows is it? Win7? XP?

By the way, very nice and smooth gameplay... I see nothing lagg here, even though it's an external camera :p

  • @officerbrother he said he wasnt that much of a pc gamer, so u should keep ur useless comments up ur ass

  • dude, lol dunno if you have realised yet but on the mw2 mission you was playin, you dont need to keep tapping the buttons lol

  • what`s bootcamp?

  • is this modern warfare game made for the mac or can you download any game that the mac will exept.

like the games that work on like dell will they work on the mac?

  • @nwa1123 its a PC game, running through bootcamp.

  • @theunits3

There's a native Modern warfare game for Mac os x

  • @nwa1123 i heard you can also download the program Steam and buy it from there.

  • @Intskyste what i meant is, i have the mighty mouse and you can't press both left and right simultaneously but is it possible with the magic mouse?

  • this is so random but hah... u sound like desmond from lost

  • where are u from

  • @RayykTheRogue the 27 in is like 1440p i think

  • you could try making aim down the sight

    noob -.-

  • are your running bootcamp or somehting? cause i cant get call of dutyy modern warefare2 for mac

  • haha, nice video and BTW you suck at gaming ;) haha no offense

  • Do you realise that if you press the right mouse button your character will aim down the sight of his gun? it makes it easier when your trying to shoot people.

  • great gameplay vid! are you playing in 2560*1440 resolution?

  • Why are you always shooting from the hip?

  • Lol Lol.. I guess they need Ads for raise money! Guess people have been watching porn lately.

  • lockerz invite anyone pm its legit seriously.... dude who wants free stuff any one

  • so you bought a mac, to install windows, and play games?! i don't understand your logic?

  • @theunits regardless enjoy your PC. (Macs are personal computers too)

However in "description" it would be helpful to have typed your in-game video/graphical settings (overall or specific) as it would portray more accurately the phrase:

"runs smoothly on the [PC TYPE or BRAND]"

As for all we know it could be running at LOW settings. (Not to say it is in your vid but that is simply an example)

Try out Call of Duty: Black Ops on your current iMac when its released in Nov btw.

  • Can you just install steam and play that way on the mac? I did not know u had to install a windows thing? That sucks. If anyone can clearly answer how I could play windows games on mac.

  • @ghskatersam ....you forget that the game MUST be programmed/supported for the Mac Operating System, in which MANY PC games are only programmed for the Windows Operating System. Steam released/or will be releasing their client for Mac...but that doesn't mean every single PC game on earth or on steam's list of games will automatically work on the Mac OS, only a few like Call of Duty 4 etc, and in some time almost all of Valve's developed games. (L4D, L4D2, CSS, HL2, etc)
