For the Barring, just use axel greese and full the holes where the oil yubes were. After that pug the holes with a re-moveable cap, so you can refill as needed.
T25 is not a bad unit, if you want a reliable 2 litre turbocharged engine with low lag its ideal, if you want to modify something heavily its too small but it dosent deserve a stupid comment
I dont care what anyone says, this is cool! Most pepople would never go through with trying out something like this, and I'm sure you learned a ton from doing it.

looks like the main bearing's gone on the turbo, judging by the movement in it as it got shut down, a healthy one has no play at all
