  • Cosmos has several descent songs, this is one of them. Great track.

  • @watchpotch 'Descent' songs? I guess they're the same as decent songs..... just a thought.

  • @TheOptimod - yes sorry I meant decent. I should check my spelling.

  • Great song. Lyrically, someone said that it is a 6:43 musical version of Brian May's blog!

  • Well played, beautiful sung, lyrics are great...what else do you want?

  • 0:36 I lost the game...

  • best song on the album...I say this as an "old" Queen-Fan...Freddie might have sung it different but he would have loved it!

  • i´m a big queen fan didn`t give much on qpr but this song is really goog

  • I like it. It's the truth really. I'd listen to Brian and Roger play guitar and drums while just about anyone but me was singing.

  • Very good song

  • This song is dogshit. are you kidding me !? sounds like Gay bar music

  • Excellent song! They found magic!

  • @Jacob7393

I personally equate it to 'the once and future king' myth, it gives me hope.

  • @bohemianscara Cool, yep... Did you know that "Freddie" means "Elf counsel"? :)

  • So many times I listened to this wonderful song in my car, during dark nights...while I was looking the stars on the highway,

  • @DimitriPeruzziOnline

    the same :)

such a good feeling, isn't it?

  • amazing song

  • this is like the positive version of Imagine

  • ima use this for 2010 olympic tribute to athelets =)

  • the Drums and Rhythm of the chorus are exactly the same as Las Palabras De Amor

  • @spamhead2k Yes, it reminds me of that song too!

  • I would give billion stars for this wonderful and touching song. THAT'S WHAT WE BELIEVE!

  • Comment removed

  • reminds me of 'Las Palabras De Amor'

  • beautiful song :]

  • They might not have freddie anymore but everyone else (except brian - he left and idk why) is still there, so thats Queen to me, and theyre still just as good

  • Brian is still there... John left.

  • Yes, in fact Brian wrote this song! Although PaulR. is singing it.

  • John retired. Roger and Brian remain.

  • WE BELIVE ON QUEEN

  • Bella, ma la mancanza di Freddie..si avverte in un modo assurdo!

    <3 Freddie..sarai sempre un mito!

  • @MartiObscene Ma lui non vuole essere un mito, LOL. Lui vuole essere amato per se stesso...

  • LOVE this song... and love this album.

    Georgina, Thank you for sharing!

  • A modern day "Prophet's Song" : QPR telling the tale of Barak Obama's approach to making peace in the world.

    "Brilliant, sheer bloody poetry" again......

  • I'm not sure about actual names of "the leader who brings new morning", since what Mr. Obama doing (still) with Iraq and Afghanistan situation I can't say anything about "peace in the world" at all...

But this song is so much more than it.

  • great song!!beatiful lyrics...words of hope...

  • im agree with that so sure

  • This song is a masterpiece and the best off the album

  • Since I love Queen and I like Bad Company, I'm tickled pink that their lead singer is working with my favorite band.

  • this song is so great.kudos to paul rodgers and the rest of the queen. we all dream of world peace the message of his song is very timely.

  • Great song. Not my favorite from the CD, but it is a great one. It is definetly not classic Queen. It is more like Bad Company... But they rock. I hope they make more in the furture!

  • langweiliger song.

  • The best song of the Cosmos Rock album with Still Burning.

A Classic Queen Song made for the New Queen + PR ( what a singer!!!!)

    Excelent.

Please Come Again to Argentina in 2009.

  • great song, although it only really starts to get going for me after the first minute. fantastic build up and i can never stop singing the we believe bits.

fantastic album. although, i think the best candidaates for singles are cosmos rockin, small and things that glitter

  • The Cosmos Rocks is a brilliant album, one of the best from last year. Sure it doesn't sound like classic Queen, but that doesn't mean it is bad!

Trying to replicate the bombastic opera rock of the old days with someone other than Freddie would've been ridicilous, so they've taken another approach with a more back to basics style.

  • trumsolon: Well said!

  • @trumsolon so true.

  • Is it Brian singing?

  • no, paul rodgers sings the whole song.

  • @Ennio444 Brian 's got a very high voice - he's got songs, also on youtube, but his voice is very high, rasping and also beautiful - this is Paul Rodgers, he's pretty good, but he's nothing if we look at Freddie, nothing but pretty good

  • @Ennio444 Are you deaf?

  • Why? Brian and Paul share a similar tone and type of voice. Brian's is less strong and Paul's is more cracked, broken (not as much as Roger's), but I can still confuse them.

  • oo shiiit this song is great!!

    i love queen ! :DD

  • This is an absolutely awesome song!!

It takes the old school guys to write classic songs like this!!

  • What a song!

  • QUEEN RULES FOR EVER AND EVER

  • This album hit number 1 in one country, Esthonia or something like that

  • unfortunately this song was not on the Kharkov show:(

  • I have been to Prag, to attend Queen concer and Paul rocks !!! Go Queen, be the best, as always. Cosmos rocks is a piece of art.

  • Sylvia we believe that our love will last for ever ; you are the most beautyfull girl in the world . je t'aime pour l'éternité .

  • WOW WOW WOW

Another Top track from a great album.

Who said queen wasn't good without freddy?

    paul

  • Please release this is as a single, it is awesome, a certain NO1

  • i believe its getting released soon

  • this is officially gonna be Obama's Inaguration song for Feb 2009

  • where did you take this info?

  • It should have been!

  • @marvinp01 Ha, what do you say of that False Messiah NOW

  • @slendersail Oh don't get me wrong, ive always disliked Obama from the start!

  • @marvinp01 Oh, I see. Anyway, don't matter much, we cannot know how things will turn out before they happen - anyone can make different choices. But hey, I heard that the "we got BL" story is a fake, a pretext to end the war. By next year, everything will come out, about the war on terror, and everything else. Fingers crossed, I guess.

  • This song should be released as a single because its so awesome. When they played it at Sheffield I cheered so much! :D

  • This sounds so...Arthurian I love it. At least my joint fav on this album, possibly my fav.

  • So Sad..

  • Did Brian write this or was it all 3 of them ?...I love this song so much

  • been to liverpool going to manchester absoloutly fantastic concert way way better than 2005 and this is the best song on the album in my opinion

  • Great song fella's, its quite addictive, reminds me of when i listened to the title track Innuendo 'cassingle' it just grows and grows on ya! Great work B/R/P! This would lend to a brilliant music clip!

  • great music vid...c

  • hey!!!! the base is very simiar to "las palabras de amor"

  • yes its very similar... but the song its really diferent .

the song have parts like ¨¨imagine¨¨ of lennon..

    4:29 to 4:45

  • O melhor que poderia ter acontecido nas ultimas décadas!!!

  • freddy mercury was good, but he aint no paul rodgers.

  • Are you serious?

  • 100%

  • I like this song. I don't understand why many fans pan this song and the new album. They compare it to Queen, but they should remember that this is Queen+Paul Rodgers.

  • I couldn't agree more.

  • I totally agree with you !!

    Thanks "and god bless Freddy"

  • Paul voice is great. This song is really wonderfull.............Queen the best rock group whithout a shadow a doubt

  • I couldn't agree more. And WE BELIEVE is by far the best song of the album.

    Long Live Brian May !!!!

  • This song is amazing... wow. Paul Rodgers voice so full of emotion and soul. Incredible.

  • Love this song.

  • Este tema es bueno !!

  • Noone will ever confront Queen! I am guitar player and listen to many types of music but queen will remain my best ever rock group that the world saw!

  • I did notice the similarity to Las Palabras but there are always going to be echoes of the past. Both songs were, of course, written by Brian. It is a good album. However, the songs they are using for the live shows are pretty limited e.g. Surf's Up and Cosmos Rockin. Thank goodness they aren't using Still Burnin.

  • i've allready seen The tour for 3 times last month. I can tell you that "surf's up" is a good track to begin the show. "Cosmos rockin'"is very good too, and i regret they don't play "time to shine" anymore. Introducting "we believe" in the tracklist was a good idea.

  • what the hell is wrong with u guys, its queen and paul rogers. And if they wanna call themselfs Queen who cares Brian May and Roger Taylor started Queen.Queen rocks go brian roger and paul.Lets put this bs to rest!!!!!!!!!

  • ADOREI, MUITO LINDA ESTA CANÇÃO.

  • Thank you all, your true fans, I edit it out to keep this a family site. But I heard that Queen+Paul Is planing a digital concert in America on the 26th of OCT, Please call your local theaters, that has digital capacity, tell your friends. if enough people call they will show. PLEASE!!!! I really want to see this show. PS I'm not paid by Q+PR LET THE COSMO ROCK AMERICA

  • I have tickets---it's bein shown in my area on Nov.6h.

  • well said!!!

  • has similarities to "darling be home soon" by John Sebastian (covered by Slade on Slade Alive) and echoes of "your the voice" by John Farnham

    Look them up!!!!

  • mepfry what did Fred say when people condemned his mustache, what did he say when people condemned Hot Space, (#@%& OFF its only a mustach) (%$@# it's only a album) thats what he said, and I think thats what I think he would be saying now (@%$# OFF it's only a name off a band)

  • I so agree with you.

And this is a great song. One of my faves off the new album, along with Cosmos Rockin

  • I think they're still great, whatever their name is.

However I can't find out wich other name should they choose: they're QUEEN, always been.

  • i think R T wrote it, has the same feeling as foreign sand

  • Soccolitspainful is right Brian May wrote it just looked it up on wikipedia

  • Świetny kawałek

  • Well i think Brians lyrics are really good. But personally i think that this shouldnt be queen + Paul it should be a new band. The role is just to huge to fill

  • wow...you must be retarded with a stinker like "cosmos rocks"... this song has depth to it...obviously something more generous of them to release.

i get what they were going for with cosmos rocks. but its...kinda stale...probably the lyrics....the rock n roll feel is pretty great.

  • your a prick mate, sort your life out, cosmos rocking is a good track.

  • Don't like this song at all. Lyrics make me cringe big time. With this song omitted from the album and with Runaway replacing it, Cosmos rocks would've been an instant CLASSIC.

  • I bet all you clowns who detest this song would be the first ones saying how GREAT it is IF it was Freddie singing it....

  • I don´t DETEST this song. It´s a good song, sung by a decent singer, but, yes, it would be great IF Freddie were singing, he gave something more, a soul, to every song he sang,

    unfortunately, he cannot sing anymore.

  • so true.. i just went to their concert in hamburg, and it was the best concert iwe ever been too, without a doubt. but i would still pay my right arm to go back and hear freddie sing live... he just gave it more, if you doubt, search for "is this the world we created" at wimbley, best live song ever

  • Is This the World we Created" from Wembley '86 always gives me goosebumps! Awesome song, and beautifully executed at that particular show!

And to finish it off with a smile, one of the most impressive shouts from a member of the audience I've ever heard, seconds before the song ends! :D

  • yes, yes I would...!

    Amen, ines85i

  • i completely agree...

  • great song,

  • pax80a - I was about to give your comment a thumbs down, but then I realized you're right - in a way. I think this album is great, but in time, they will come up with an even better one. This album seems to be the 'introduction' into their new career, almost like a warm-up exercise. Although it is a great debut album, they'll definitely come up with better material once they've spent more time together. The Cosmos definitely rocks.

  • I can't consider this stuff as Queen, but it has some features of it, and it's undoubtedly a good song. Paul sings really good. I like it ;)

  • good song,. im starting to like this album ^^ it is queen afterall ! quite a lot of acoustic guitar on this album. this song sounds a little bit like las palabras des amore from hot space ^^

  • I love queen, well dont we all. They were the most perfect group. Its good there back and doing new things and making good music too. Also good singing on this track, harmonies ok aswell. GO Queen take the world by storm once again!

  • Pretty Good Song...

  • pretty good track. i'm surprised. just not digging paul's lyric....the chorus is kinda too big. this is such a subtle song, something might be missed in it's presentation like this, beautiful sentiment though. brian's wicked on the six again....as he's always been. thank you for posting this, i've been wanting to hear it for sometime.

  • i listened to 5/6new songs, all very good stuff, i am a queen collector, queen religious:D, this is a very good product, but i think they could still do better, some chorus and vocal arrangement isnt at thetop, so maniacally cared like theyused, and Bri doesnt express himself, huge pity. They could risk still more. they had to work on these songs still, but thats business, at the end of the year +sales.infact in november on sale new stupid single box pt1..

  • The new album is quality, shine, small, we believe and say its not true are the stand out tracks. There are a few album fillers in there but other then that the albums really good 8/10

  • It's a lovely song. :)

  • reminds me of Who Wants to Live for Ever an Hammer to Fall

  • May sure puts down some of his greatness into the guitar part, but it's probably my least favorite on the album.

  • very nice song!

  • I have just listened to it again (3rd listen) with reference to my previous comment, it maybe isn't that untidy. This so clearly a Brian song. A lot of the views expressed mirror his comments on the Soapbox of his website. I also think Small is a Brian song. As the most prolific Queen writer, I am surprised he only seems to have "instigated" 2 to 3 of the album's songs (although clearly his presence is felt in all of the songs, as they all pitch in with big contributions).

  • When this album was being worked on, Brian was heavily into working on his phD (Which he completed), so that's probably why.

  • This is a good song. A bit unconventional in that the chorus doesn't really emerge until about 2 minutes. The beginning is a little bit untidy. A bit like a written political message set to music as an afterthought (the line "we don't understand what the other guy is saying" is a good example). I like unventionality but the radio might have prefered a tighter, shorter effort with more focus on the chorus.

  • i was really sceptic..but..this song is great

  • nice stuff here looking forward to the album!!

  • Muy linda song

  • lo que se dice un verdadero poliglota

  • Hahahah!

  • Brillante.

  • This one was a grower for me.

At first I was indifferent, but now I love it.

A beautiful melody and chord progression and such a wonderful vocal from Paul. I focus on the music, not the name. It's a shame other people can't open their minds beyond a label.

  • fantastico
