  • Wow that works realy well. Very accurate. What are the specs of the IR LED? Im going to go out to buy one today. I took apart a broken VCR remote and used the led out of that but it didnt work very well lol.

  • check the description, and I think the LED was a 940 nm wavelength.

  • do wiimotes work while they are being charged?

  • I have no idea. Its worth a try. You can't break it by trying that.

  • instrumental versie van the Fray - how to save a life

  • ontzettend bedankt, ik zal nu heel wat verder komen!

  • even een paar vraagjes;

wat voor ir led is het? 940nm, 880nm, of hoeveel?

  • c'mon; im no electrician! what the hell? making the pen is so complicated. you should realy make a tut for it. until then im using a standard TV remote.

  • does JCL software contain the 4 point touch calibration thing

  • this is the guy's software, so yes, it has 4 point calibration...

No touch anything though, it's not a touchscreen, i'm using the IR pen.

  • hey bro do we need some software for that or we need only IR pen Wimote and a blue tooth connectivity . ?? p[lease i wanna make it for mom. and if software is required then tell me where adn how can i get it. please reply

  • just check the description of this video. There is a link there to the website of Johnny Lee. Instructions and the latest software are all there.

    Good luck. DJT

  • do you use a mouse anymore?

  • @warlockboyburns you can use Smoothboard to replace your mouse and keyboard. :)

  • nice XD

  • could it be used on vista?

  • Hi. Will this work on a PC? Mine is not a lap top but i have a LCD screen. Will it work?

  • yeah sure, u can use it with any screen, from laptop lcd to CRT to beamers(anything really)

just watch the other video's made by people.

i only tried with windows XP though, don't know if it works on Vista

  • Hi. But can you do a video with full details on how to set it up? I have no idea. Thanks.

  • Just check the discription of this video, there is a link to Johnny Lee's webpage. You can find some instuctions regarding the bluetooth connection and his software there.

    good luck!

  • Nice, you're left handed XD

  • or he's filming into a mirror?? :P

  • the laptop screen isn't mirrored right ;P

I am actually right-handed, but I couldn't use my right-hand because then it would have blocked the tip of the pen effectively losing the tracking ability of the Wii remote.

  • couldn't you just move the wiimote to the other side?

  • hi everyone the ir pen works on mac too but i still have a problem of calibration ( the cursor is verry far from the pen cible please help me

  • wow. good job, thats awesome!

  • very cool! i also wanted to try Johnny's wiimote ideas. Question, How is the resolution of the pen? Is drawing accurate?

  • the ir camera in the wiimote has a resolution of 1024x768. So if you place/point the wiimote correct, you should get close to that res.

    good luck :)

  • cool
