i have to say TB2 launch looks alot more fun.. why didnt they launch TB2 before TB1 if TB1 can go faster?

@cprich22 Thunderbird 1 does the recon, and then they can decide what module they are going to put in Thunderbird 2.

More likely a sideways on shot of tb1 on the launch pad looked rubbish on camera.

notice that TB1 starts at the top of the ramp frontways on 0:53, then when the scene cuts TB1 is going down the ramp sideways on 0:59

Maybe it twisted 90 degrees on the way down, but wasn't shown on camera.

@dataflowc Funny you should say that, because I watched the film Thunderbirds Are Go! recently, and at the bottom of the ramp it was still facing the same way it was at the top. And it looked strange.
