I surfed this swell 4.5 hrs Friday at Wilderness Puerto Rico. Flew to NJ Sat morning to surf LBI NJ evening. All day sunday and monday dawn patrol.. nice swell

the only thing that sucked about saturday morning was the sun. It was so hard to see a wave out in front of you because the sun was right in your eyes.

I surf in the northwest and almost want to drive there so I can see feel what it is like to surf in warm water.

I used to live in the east (before I started surfing) so I know how fast those waves disappear.

It was big, glassy, 6-8 foot faces. Some double overhead bombs. Surprisingly there weren't too many closeouts but they were quick sometimes!!
