Even if you were to strap on more speakers it won't make a huge difference. Audiophiles forget that there are physics still in play while listening to music. When you have multiple outputs of the same frequency you have cancellation waves, very similar to waves in the ocean. In order to really make a noticeable difference, increase it's origin or source of output. In other words using a much bigger speaker. I would rather have a speaker just three times bigger than say five of the same set.
