I really appreciate Strole and Yorke because their interpretations fit the the songs exuberant energy. There is an authenticity to them that the other two videos aren't able to play upon as clearly. Strole and Yorke seem like young girls at the beginning of their journeys.

I've noticed lately that Broadway has completely gone to hell...Anything that's original or well done closes, and the stages become swamped with the infamous movie and juke-box musicals. When I watch these videos or listen to pieces that you've written, my mind becomes at ease. It's nice to know that there are people out there still writing original things. It's amazing to hear music that doesn't sound like every other thing out there. You two WILL do phenomenal things.

You mean how there's Broadway, and Off-Broadway, and then there's our little subculture of Kerrigan-Lowdermilk, Scott Alan, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Jason Robert Brown, Ryan Scott Oliver and Jeremy Schonfeld? lol. I'm just not that impressed with Phoebe Strole...she's kinda weak for how much fame and recognition she has gotten. Helene rocks...recently though. I was never impressed with her Umich stuff, but this whole Lowdermilk Kerrigan stuff is really changing my opinion of her.
