The reason a lot of people don't like this movie is because it misrepresents the naval academy. I haven't been to the naval academy however I am currently in nrotc. I can tell you right now that it is ten times harder than anything portrayed in this movie. My first week everything hurt. Took me the next two weeks to recover from the beat down we got. Yes its a good movie but compared to real life this doesn't even scratch the surface.

@GoalieHoc3 I did and it wasn't the first time I've seen it. They weigh in for heavy weight, Huard is 185, the other is 197. Compare their height, thickness in body, and cut. Huard loses each one. So, again, there's no way they're in the same weight class.
