I just don't get this attack at all. It feels so weaker than what Venus had before.

There's a line to balance power with beauty and grace, and the chain struck it so perfectly. It was a graceful, physical weapon nicely based on her love theme that could genuinely injure you, and be a tool.

LBS is all show and no force; it even feels weaker than Crescent Beam!

@AtenRa I feel the same way. This is my favorite attack because of the superior animation quality. But it never made sense to me. Why do the hearts multiply only to merge back into one heart? With the multiple hearts, you have a better chance of hitting the enemy.

But in order to do that, they had to either make sailor venus seem weak compared to sailor iron mouse or make sailor iron mouse super strong. I'm seriously not bashing minako. She is my favorite sailor scout. It's just that it is so sad that the other sailor scouts apart from sailor moon, mini moon, and tuxedo mask did so little. I wish they had a bigger role.

I think that's one of the reason many people consider the anime to be awful in comparison to the manga. In the manga, the senshi were all given equal time. The anime changed a lot of things, like making Chibi-moon weak and only giving Sailor Moon an Eternal form.

No. The manga was translated into English, but that's it. Nothing was changed. Haruka and Michiru are still lovers and such. It's all the same.

@cakecrumb095 They have a lot of screen time. They appeared in all 5 seasons, featured in all the openings and Sailor V even have a manga on her own before Sailor moon. Wow, if thats not enough for you then you should imagine how the outer soldier's fans feel because they definitely have less screen time. (especially Saturn).

However, maybe it's because I watch pretty cure or something, but compared to some other shows, they barely did anything to help sailor moon. If you don't believe me than just check out one episode of Yes pretty cure 5 and you will know what I mean by they didn't do much.

@cakecrumb095 that's one thing that always bothered me a little bit... any time an attack was about to be ineffective, you knew it was coming because they wouldn't play the usual "time to beat up the bad guys" background music.

several times you got to see Sailor Moon go after an important enemy and then it's like... why is there no music in this scene? oh ok, because no music = the attack won't work

I do agree that the other attacks pale this one down at least in appearance, though as I don't really have the most knowledge about the inner workings of the Sailor Moon arcs (the finer details that is, though that's still ironic considering my username), I don't really think I could have the most accurate opinion.
