It's funny. When you think of the future, you think of progress, coming a long way. But, really, there are so many things that sucks in this time as opposed to the past. Music for one thing. As the future marches forward, music falls in a dark pit. Very sad.
music does not exist anymore. maybe the only survivors of good music are u2 and muse but of course they are not as great and do not transmit the music that greats from before and bands like oasis did.:(
Appreciate this whilst you can, I just had a word with some 32 year old woman, we spoke about Music, Paul Weller and The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Stereo MC's etc. came up as well as obviously Oasis, enjoy whilst you can, my generation of shit music will take over soon, Sadly. I've just tuned 20 BTW. I envy some people that experienced Music, actual Music that made you feel.
@xBlindFerretx Mate, I know just how you feel. I just turned 14, and I hate the fact that if you turn on the radio you don't hear good music, just modern shite. Bands like Oasis played real music, not the kind of stuff you hear today. I will never listen to Lady Gaga, or Justin Bieber or most of what is in the charts now and think of it as true music, for it will never match the standards set by the bands before it.
@OasisArchimede I'm eleven and love every single Oasis song. Even in Britin you hear shit like you just mentioned. It's almost crime that they stopped playing amazing songs like this on our radios. It makes me soooo sad. I wish I was alive when they played live in 1996.... too bad.
@OasisArchimede man you guys are both looking at it wrong, i myself am 23, so Iam part of the same generation as you, you can still listen to music with emotion. It is not like you have to listen to the top 40 and radio stuff. There is still real music being made today, just harder to find. And there is also all the music of the last 100 years you can listen to as well.
@OasisArchimede Thank you for being so awesome. I am also 14, and it makes me happy to know I'm not the only one out here besides my friends who has a decent taste in music. I'm going to nominate this for my class song tomorrow. The other option is Young, Wild and Free. Wish me luck.
