Alan Dershowitz is a bully whose work is embarrassing. In his most recent work of apologetics for Israel's crimes he says Germany and Japan deserved collective punishment because their people democratically voted for war. It's almost as though he doesn't have a basic grasp of high school-level history. It was a joy to watch Norman Finkelstein put him in his place on Democracy Now, and a disgrace that Finkelstein lost career over that confrontation.
It looks as if being insulted by Dershowitz is an honor. To be put with the likes of Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, et al would be great.. How do I get Dershowitz to add me to that great group?
The Ben Gurion quote that she mentions is true and can be found in the book, "The Jewish Paradox," which was written by Nahum Goldmann, page 99, third paragraph. It was said by Ben Gurion to Goldmann himself while Goldmann was visiting Ben Gurion at his place in 1956. They stayed up till 3 a.m. chatting.

How can anyone dispute charges of genocide when 1000s of Palestinian civilians are killed (women and children included) and only a handful of Isreali soldiers die. What is the difference between Holocaust deniers and Dershowitz's denial of massacres? Even in Isreal itself there is a large peace movement--are they anti-semetic too?
Alan Dershowitz should just keep on talking. He's doing more damage to the "Israel cause" by demonstrating how they're running scared. They have neither truth nor righteousness at their core. Susan is right: When people have to resort to interruptions, name-calling, and finger pointing, its pretty certain that's all they have. How can you have a normal conversation with this man when he calls everyone but himself a terrorist? It's not possible that everyone is a terrorist. The facts are, on the ground, that Israel kills, bombs, kidnapps, tortures Palistinians every day. Look at the ratio of violence vs violence of Palistine, it's beyond dissproportionate!
Israel has rejected the 2 State solution since 1947-48. Has refused to ever allow the original partition to take place that created Israel. Israel took its part of the original partition plan and proceeded to steal the part assigned to the Palestinians.Israel purged more than 1/2 of the citizens of the Palestinian state and continues ethnic cleansing and confication of the land of the Palestinian people. .
