These probably made a bunch of good landings on the carrier,. but when they edited it they just put the crappy landings in. Thats what they did to me one time on a broadcast deal. They suck that way. Always looking to make someone look stupid or something dangerous..... codsacks.

In all seriosuness thought nice job and cool idea. Maybe add if they added some hinged extenders from the front and rear portions of the central flight deck that could fold down over each other it could increase the flight deck's lenght 2-3 times. The PT-40 flew perfectly. Whe the flaps were used in a light wind you did not need the arrestor lines.

LOL JB, but landing on an aircraft carrier is different from the ground. It requires full-power on landing. Not sure how this would work on an rc plane, but the point of that is if the catchline fails, your at full tilt, and you can just go back out and try again.

I actually do have an idea for improving it. Use about 1/8in bullet proof glass (clear), and put it above the boat. Have it cover the entire thing, and be high enough to walk under (7ft will do).

Mark a center line, and have 6ft square hole in one peice, and have the filling of that peice raise and lower (like an elevator). You can use the same catching gear, and it will still be long enough to take off on. This way you can use the entire boat to land, and it will be alot safer.
