I've been driving around for over a year with a cracked mirror because of some random ignorant jerkoff that broke it. I just bought a new mirror online for $20 because I came across your video and am *confident* I can replace it myself w/o going to the dealer. Thank you for posting this.. YOU'RE A SAINT! Btw.. this is the same for a heated mirror, right?
@Gino20202 you're welcome!! i'm not 100% sure if the heated mirror is the same... but i'm pretty confident that it is but with an added wire connected to the mirror... let us know how it goes!!
Cheers Bro, you saved me... Mr " RipOffDealer" sad $179, after a little internet research -thanks to you- I've done it by myself. Cost: $35 Time: 15 min (including research+ordering through internet) :)))) thanks again Mate
i got an 09 si coupe and there's some cosmetic damages on my driver's side mirror. i'm thinking of ordering a replacement mirror cap online but i have no idea how to take off the mirror and dissemble it
it's pretty easy to remove... there is a black plastic cover on above the door panel that hides the mirror nuts... there are three 8mm nuts and the plug holding it on... the mirror itself is just like in the video... the cap (colored part) can be removed once you remove the mirror... pretty simple to do... hope that helps
