  • I've been driving around for over a year with a cracked mirror because of some random ignorant jerkoff that broke it. I just bought a new mirror online for $20 because I came across your video and am *confident* I can replace it myself w/o going to the dealer. Thank you for posting this.. YOU'RE A SAINT! Btw.. this is the same for a heated mirror, right?

  • @Gino20202 you're welcome!! i'm not 100% sure if the heated mirror is the same... but i'm pretty confident that it is but with an added wire connected to the mirror... let us know how it goes!!

  • Thank you!

  • @alfonso2501 you're welcome!

  • Just what I was looking for!!! I was afraid to try this for fear of breaking the mirror in case this was wrong. Thanks!

  • @shellyoil32 glad the video helped :)

  • Cheers Bro, you saved me... Mr " RipOffDealer" sad $179, after a little internet research -thanks to you- I've done it by myself. Cost: $35 Time: 15 min (including research+ordering through internet) :)))) thanks again Mate

  • @uleecska no problem :)

  • Fantastic, this'll save me a lot of money and hassle, thanks!

  • no problem...

  • is the side mirror are electric?

  • it's a power mirror, yes... it's not power fold...

  • I've got a 2004 Honda Accord EX. I need to replace mirror, is the process the same?

  • not sure... sorry...

  • hey, thanks for the vid!

i got an 09 si coupe and there's some cosmetic damages on my driver's side mirror. i'm thinking of ordering a replacement mirror cap online but i have no idea how to take off the mirror and dissemble it

is it hard and would you have any advice?

    thanks!

  • it's pretty easy to remove... there is a black plastic cover on above the door panel that hides the mirror nuts... there are three 8mm nuts and the plug holding it on... the mirror itself is just like in the video... the cap (colored part) can be removed once you remove the mirror... pretty simple to do... hope that helps

  • Is this way work on 4door's mirror?

  • i just uploaded the sedan removal... give it a few mins to process and check it out... i'll also post the video response to it for easy locating...
