@falloutgeek87 Nothing really. Just title. Although many believe that the "Jackal" in Farcry 2 is infact Jack. Personaly I found this plot crazy and over the top. While Far Cry 2's plot is not quite as... eccentric, it was satisfying and a much better game. Not that this one isn't good or anything.

They do - In the ending of half life 1 freeman gets put in a stasis for around 20years or so and G-Man wakes him up in HL2. The combine controls all the aliens you encounterd in HL1 thats why the vortigounts are free and join the humans in HL2.. The link on envoirment there is none, But the story has a link ^^ you should replay the games :P

Ok... Well, how I beat that mission a second time was: I entered cryengine sandbox. I placed 1 merc Rear, armed him with shotgun and shotgun drop pack, I set his species to "0" I raised his health, agression, and set group ID to 10000 (At that time I thought it meant groupid, as if he worked really well with a group) And I cloned about 7 of him. I placed them at strategic locations, overwrote the origional, and then exited. Then I played. I got to kriger then I saw my men fight for me!

I die 2 times on this guy on my 3rd try (I got lucky) Hit him 2 or 3 shots in the head whit sniper rifel rigth at the start of the battel it dint last more then 2sec it was a lucky hit bacause i shot by mistake my fist reaction was WTF just hapen but oh well he shud have more life for a final boss
