  • Is it just me, or does Ursula seem like Cthulu's nasty mother-in-law?

  • Can you tell the Nostalgia critic that Christopher Lloyd didn't sing In the dark of the night Jim Cummings did. not mad just clearing things up Christopher Lloyd just provided the voice

  • i got to agree with the list, these villan songs are pretty badass

  • In the Dark of the Night, that's not Christopher Lloyd, that's Jim Cummings. Christopher Lloyd provided the speaking voice of Rasputin, while Jim Cummings did the singing voice.

  • The Big & Loud reprise from Cats Don't Dance would've made a good addition to this list.

  • anyone else think Christopher Lloyd sounds like Jim Cummings?

  • Hate to break your spirits. That isn't christopher lloydd singing

  • 6:36 is my favorite part.

  • Anastasia was almost as gross as The Nightmare before Christmas.

I mean, scenes filled with dancing roaches and maggots?

    I just couldn't watch it.

And if you can't either, just avert your eyes, from 1:40 to 4:00.

  • 6:48 yeah... nostalgia critic tmi.XD

  • NEVER HAVE CATHERINE ZETA JONES SING!!!

  • Rocky horror and Chicago suck!

  • @HeadBangerAust YOU SUCK!

  • @llea325 nope, I rule. a movie about gay guys cross dressing with bad music sucks, and a movie that is called chicago but does not revolve around gangsters (which is what chicago is mostly known for in any time era) but badly singing chicks sucks just as much

  • @HeadBangerAust You're entitled to your opinion no matter how utterly moronic you put it ^_^.

  • @Arella17 well it's true not opinion, sorry I don't support bisexuality like you

  • @HeadBangerAust

Wow! You are one brave individual! You fully admit to being a close minded bigoted asshole on the internet? I applaud your complete jackassery!

    (sarcasm overload)

  • @frostgiant7 yes I am an asshole and am very narrow minded about things, excuse me for not meeting your standards of mindlessly conforming to liking what everybody else does just because it's popular

  • @HeadBangerAust

Conforming implies that I am bisexual. I am just an open minded individual. (Although that's not saying I wouldn't go for David Bowie. Hot.)

You just really need to work on being less an asshole. Why do you hate bisexuals anyway?

  • @HeadBangerAust Doesn't matter if you support it or not. I don't support stupidity. But you're still allowed to be stupid.

  • @HeadBangerAust He's not gay. He's bi. And if you think that's all the movie is about, then you've not watched it. The movie is far weirder then you say. And I love it.

  • @andromidius I was forced to sit through it twice, that's pretty much all it's about, plus ugly women in pounds of makeup singing badly. thought it was eh when they made small jokes about Universal mosters from the 30s &40s, Hammer films, RKO Pictures, and B movies because I like those old school films

  • @HeadBangerAust Are you just a bitter transvestite?

  • @odin650 nope. are you somebody whose gonna get my boot wedged so far up your ass that your teeth will get knocked out from the steel toe?

  • Whats the song in the transitions?

  • Nostalgia critic likes musicals... I think that's the fucking strangest thing about anything on youtube.

  • @aminedude I did.

  • 2:47 It reminds me of just 3 words:

    MEPHILES THE DARK

  • My dad made 'Being a dentist' his theme song when he got his diploma as a dentist. LOL

  • The question Sweet Transvestite asked was "How long can you go without looking at his crotch?"

  • Now that I think about it I think the Little Mermaid is the reason I grew up afraid of deep sea creatures like the octopus.

  • actually Christopher Lloyd didn't sing that song it was the voice of edd the heyna from lion king doing an impression for the movie

  • Comment removed

  • who found out about voltaire throungh nc

  • Dr Frankenfurter is a villian? Granted he's kind of a dick, but a villian?

  • #7 rocky horror and little shop of horrors 'Love It'

and i expected ratigan to be up there too :(

  • damndamn debeldebeldebeldebelweebleweebleweebleweeble songs

  • @chevycool6 Can someone tell me what that song is from?

  • Knockoff? If you research, the Anastasia movie is actually somewhat accurate. See that old guy as Lenin, and in the beginning when they raid the palace during the Bolshvik revolutions, the bat demons being killers and anarchists. The movie is basically Anastasia's side of the Anastasia case in the 20s

  • Prancing, pink bugs.... FAIYYYLLL!!!!

  • death death devil devil devil devil evil evil evil evil songs

  • It was actually Jim Cummings Singing "In the Dark of the Night."

  • Whats the name of the song that plays in the transitions?

  • @jerzy862 Voltaire - Death Devil Evil songs. He also does When you're Evil from the top 11 disney villains, as well as Brains and Land of the Dead from the billy and mandy cartoon

  • my dad bought this once and i always thought why the hell did he buy a video of transvestitie

  • Cell Block Tango is fine example of the phrase "Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn."

  • Dentist is a great song, but I was surprised you didn't go for something like Feed Me. For some reason, I thought that would be more up your street.

  • Oh, Nostalgia Critic, you forgot the BIGGEST joke you could've made with the Cell Block Tango.

    "Zeta-Jones: He had it comin

NC: Oh, you have mine coming all night long! *faceslap* I deserve that."

  • @WiiUDude Genius just genius. With lines like that you could start youre own comedic show

  • GO Anastasia!!!!!! :D

  • In the portuguese version of the anastasia song, he actually said at the end "I shall kill". I'm from Brazil, and sometimes the way they change some of the translation... makes the movie way better somehow, i mean geez, half the movies the critic points out on how they suck, suddenly don't look as bad here because of the voice acting and translating.

  • Iv only watched one nostalgia chick review and it seemed like she disliked the #6 song...I used to watch the whole god damn movie to see that song...and a Rasputin that was awesome then but makes my history major blood boil now haha

  • When did the cook county joint turn into the daja vu

  • Too bad Worlds Greatest Criminal Mind isn't in there

  • 2:42-2:51 Honestly what I always invsion the visuals for that song isn't far off from what the real thhing is. Except the singer is a mad sorceress(I just ignore the fact that's its obviously a guy voice and he does says he's a man) who's planning to kill the girl who escaped her while her marry band of living dead minions are singing alone with her until the end where a bunch of demon bird/bat things are flying up from hell to do her bidding while two of them help her up and fly her up to see.

  • 0:49 FALCON PUNCH!

  • no ooggie boogie song?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • i liked anastasia its mine and my moms favorite movie

  • WOOOOOHOOOO ANASTASIA FTW!!!!!!!

  • Trust me NC Catherine Zeta Jones should never sing

  • Leave it to the murderesses to turn tho cook county slammer into a strip joint

  • i am sorry, but although it had good music, Chicago was absolutely overrated!

  • I am SO glad Rasputin's song is on here!

  • Eddie Caroll (whom voices Ursulsa) is a family friend of one of my old friends. I regretably never got to meet her. I absolutely love her voice.

  • #4 is called Cell Block Tango...

  • @Koubear24

    Pop....Six....Squish...Ah-Ah....Cicero...Lipschitz.

  • Though I really enjoyed "The sound Block Tango" I can't help but feel bad for the Hungarian woman because from what her dance seems to be saying, she's the only one who actually didn't commit her crime but no one understands her... Is that just me?

  • @StrangeEmily88 isn't that why she pulled a white rag instead of red? or am i just remembering it wrong...

  • @Jade7272 Yea. That's why, it was symbolic that she had no blood on her hands like the other women.

  • I think the Rasputin in Anastasia was with those bugs because the real Rasputin (not a villain irl, btw) was known for being very difficult to kill. He survived so many murder attempts that his enemies compared him to a cockroach!

  • I love the Dentist song!

  • I think Still Alive should have been on the list

  • this may just be me or maybe because i watched the film so much as a kid (no joke at least 5 times a week) or maybe im just weird but i get chills from Frolo's song in hunchback of notre damn it used 2 kinda scare me but now im older i realise how just genuinely awesome the song is and the sort of subject matters its talking about . Any way awesome song the perfect choice 4 number 1 good on u nostalgia critic.

  • I don't think Sweet Transvestite really counts as a villain song...but it depends on how you characterize Frank...I don't really think he's a villain, but I don't know what he'd really be classified as...

  • Okay, why the hell is "Pretty Women" on this list? If any song from ST should have been on this list, it would be "Epiphany." Then again, the film version isn't exactly accurate to the stage version, but "Epiphany" is definitely a better song--at least on the epic scale, than "Pretty Women."

  • @MaryamTV

Agreed! "Epiphany" is a wonderful stage-musical villain song, and NC neglected to see that. "Not one man, no, not ten men, nor a hundred can assuage me!" Awesome.

  • Is it strange for me to have imagioned a Black Ops team kidnapping someone when I heard "In The Dark of the Night"?

  • i dont know, sweet transvestite just literately OOZES SEX!!!, that and krystle[the chick I'm with now] chose that song on our first shag session.it went unusually well.

  • @TheMonkeybutler20

Same story on my part...although our first time was when we were watching the RHPS.

  • (I know he pointed out he was wrong about this, but I wanna make a joke)

Hey Critic, did you look in the "Big Book of Actors"? It says here "Christopher Lloyd does NOT sing". I mean, did you even watch the Addams Family? There's a reason he doesn't sing.

  • Sweet Transvestite turned me into a Timsexual.

  • personally i like anistasia

  • Actually that's the king of impersonasions himself, Jim Cummings singing In the Dark of the Night.

  • @BattlingBeasts We know. NC addressed that in his "Top 11 Nostalgic F-ups" clip

  • I agree, They should've done dancing skeletons or zombies.

  • Sweet Transvestite <3

  • I understand that maybe the pink bugs in Anastasia was a little childish, but hey its a kids movie, you cant have scary corpses and ghosts scream their souls out over some girl soon to be killed by horrible flying monsters.

  • @videocritic2463 Yeah, but this movie was done by Don Bluth, the man who gave us mutated rats, a satanic dog, and a murderous T-Rex.

  • @c0mf0rta61ynum6 No freaking idea what you are talking about.

  • In the dark of the night sounds like something iron maiden should cover xD!

  • This just prove why I hated the dentist.

  • The Chicago song is called The Cellblock Tango, not He Had it Coming.

  • I still have that song from Anastasia on my mp3 player.

  • Imagine if Ursula was part of that Chigago dance.

  • @animegx45

you bastard, i nearly die at the thought

  • ariels hot

  • Cell Block Tango! 8D

  • what was the song at 5:30

  • @Devman60006 death death devil devil evil evil songs (voltaire)

  • because of NC, i love chicago now and i have the DVD

  • no ones making fun of Jim Cummings last name....no one......no one......ok

  • @halleljk If you do that, you'll have to make fun of Alan Cumming, too. You'd never hear the end of it!

  • @Heroshii15 point taken

  • One thing about In the Dark of the Night: I can't take any song that uses the line 'Let your evil shine' seriously. How is evil shiny?

  • And I sang death death devil devil devil devil evil evil evil evil songs.

  • I love Anastasia and LOVE the music!!!

  • I would just like to say that whilst Anastasia WAS an expensive Disney rip-off, it was a pretty good movie. I liked it a lot.

  • @TheZacula

Indeed, although its kinda of a Disney rip-off, Anastasia is a pretty good movie, and I like it too. :D

  • Admit it; the only reason you like 'They Had It Comin'' was because of the fishnets.

  • unlike quest for camelot anastasia is a good disney spin off and the ONLY good don bluth film in the 90s

  • Blah blah Jim Cummings blah. Yes, we get it. It was Cummings. OK.

  • too late, she's mine

  • I Love Rocky Horror, little shop of horrors and Chicago all The songs r kick-ass cool and i could watch them everyday

  • @2003jackb

I agree. The Oogie Boogie Song from The Nightmare Before Christmas is a pretty fun song.

  • Word of advice if your Dentist shows up to work dressed like a Biker, then it's a good idea to get the hell out of there

  • no no no, NC acknowledge jim cummins in the NEXT top 11 f ups

  • He should totally have had a song from Repo! the Genetic Opera on this.

  • @madderandmadder Yes! Night Surgeon, or maybe Thankless job or Gold

  • @madderandmadder Repo! Songs shouldn't count. There's no real villain songs in it. It's good, but there's several songs that could be a villain song for each character.

  • @madderandmadder most of that movie is villain songs.

  • ok I fucking love the song from Chicago

  • you know, i like chicago now. i heard it from this countdown and i liked the song, then i went to visit my grrandparents and i found a DVD in a box, so i was excited to watch it. now, it's one of my favorite movie of all time. i have to thank him next time.

  • NOW SPIT!!!

  • Anastasia wasn't a disney move though....

  • @yinyangwings

Yeah, he said it was a Disney Knock-off. 20th Century Fox made it look like a Disney Movie. But you're right it's not a Disney Movie.

  • @TheSquirrelsquirrels Technically, that's because the artist Don Bluth used to work with Disney. ^^;

  • I would have never thought I would have seen the man who played Nigel Thornberry dress up in drag.

  • Nostalgia, Nostalgia, Nostalgia. #4 was called "Cell Block Tango". Not "He Had it Comin'". And as we are going for my musical knowledge, I think you made a great choice in putting "Dentist" in the list. Although, I don't think "Sweet Transvestite" is in the same league. I dunno, I hated RHPS (dear god, the hate I will get from that) and LSOH is my favorite musical. And "Feed Me" or "Suppertime" are also great villain songs. But Dentist IS the most upbeat, so whatevs.

  • "in the dark of the night" is excellent, by yeah the bug thing stupid. Listen, but don't look.

  • @EVERYONE

Thanks!! I watched the F*cks Ups vid, and saw that it was addressed.

  • The Cell Block Tango gives me shivers every time.

  • Mean green mother isn't good enough? I mean dentist was nice and all but the dentist was just a jackass not a villain. I thought AUdrey 2 was the real villain of little shop of horrors.

  • Comment removed

  • @girlishgamer1 I feel the same way, though I personally would choose "Feed Me"

  • @KaelMcG23 Yeah but personally mean green mother was where we got to see who audrey 2 really was.

  • @girlishgamer1 Yeah, I see what you mean. They're kind of a villain song tag team. Mean Green Mother is when you learn the truth of Audrey II while Feed Me is where you start to get the feeling that something isn't quite right.

  • @KaelMcG23 Still at least one audrey 2 song would have worked since he was the real villain of the story.

  • 7. WTH for both of them ROFL. They look so weird.

    6. I love this one.

    5. This is an amazing song.

    4. Lol, someone in my class was actually singing this.

  • Tangled's 'Mother Knows Best' is a newer and arguably better version of poor unfortunate soul

  • the dentist song is catchy, Anastasia was 20th century Fox, Poor unfortunate souls was sung twice in the Broadway version of the little mermaid, The Cell Block Tango i think is the Best Chicago song

  • Fckyesssss Chicago <3

  • You can spread my endangered species ANYDAY! lolol!

  • Douchey McNitpick: That was Jim Cummings singing the whole time, ya brainless fart!

  • wait a sec....anastasia is about the guys over throwing lennin or somthing like that? if so then why is there a wizard and singing bugs

  • @pyrotech8285 You're a wizard, Rasputin.

  • Well the pink bugs are girls XD and well don't bugs eat decomposing bodies...? And well Rasputin is dead...XD.

  • @cozygirl47 Peter Piper: I'm out to pick your pickled peppers. You get to decide which ones. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • I thought Little Shop of Horrors was about a barber shop and evil plants, not dentists. Someone help me out here

  • @TwinGleeks101 No it's about a flower shop. There's this flower shop that's not doing so well and ran by an owner and his two employees are Seymour, a nerdy guy who has a crush on his fellow co worker Audrey. One day Seymour finds a strange plant after a solar eclipse happened and he takes it into the shop. He admits he calls it Audrey 2 and its put on display instantly making business boom. However, the only way to keep it alive was by feeding it blood.

  • @TwinGleeks101 ON a side problem Audrey was dating the dentist and Seymour was jealous so he had to do all he could in order to keep Audrey 2 alive and growing.

  • Frollo could easily be considered the most complex and diabolical Disney villain just because of "Hellfire". Great choice for the top song.

  • I think Big Green Mother From Outer Space should have been on the list.

  • @BlankThrowingArmy Death death death by voltaire

  • did tim curry just turn me on?

  • I agree, Villain songs are the BEST SONGS

  • Ok. It is not sung by a villain, but how about the best villain "themes"? Like the Imperial March or even Jaws! Those are epic!

  • why, just WHY, doesnt beast wars Megatron a villainsong, that would just be awesome!

  • how would the police possibly catch her if the only motive she had was him popping gum? it's just so random :/

  • keep pressing 6.......O_o

  • "In the Dark of the Night, Evil will find her. In the Dark of the Night, terror comes true."

God I love that song. (And the lyrics are great! How can NC dis them?)

  • I remember our drama club got in trouble for doing a "He Had it Comin" routine for our Senior Jail n Bail. But good GOD it was well worth it and completely badass

  • Christopher Lloyd didn't sing for Rasputin.. it was Jim Cummings. But it's my favourite movie of all time. Despite its campyness and historical inaccuracy.

  • WHY is everyone so down on anastasia?! That was one of my favorite childhood movies! Its not the best ever, but its great!

  • @Astrithor

Agreed. It's one of my sisters best childhood songs.

  • @GoopLoopScoop yeah, and also, "Once upon a december"? I cant tell you the chills that song gave me when i was little

  • LOVE In The Dark Of The Night!! Was hoping it was on the list!

  • @MightyKitez Me too :D

You should listen to the German version. that guy actually sings :O

  • I actually did listen to Dark of the Night alone, and it literally sent chills up my spine, it was so epic. Then I remembered the visuals and...prancing pink bugs...? FAIL!

  • not to insult the nostalgic critic choices, but... the dentist isn't the main villain of Little Shop of Horror, just a douchebag

  • I love all the disney villain songs, i love the pink anastsia bugs and i love the chicago women-best song in the movie!!!

  • you know what NC when I first saw this I thought he was talking about the country with the same name but later is a planet we was talking about not the country
