Tactics is actually a SRPG engine written from the ground up for the PC. It is using FFT sprites but it does not intend to stay that way. As it is written for the PC, it is in the form of an executable and will not require an emulator to run.
Unfortunately, it is not intended to be a clone of FFT in terms of storyline and maps. However, I do aim for Tactics to provide the same depth and breadth of gameplay that FFT has.
too bad your project seems on hold... this is exactly what I am aiming for, for my Project.
