Not really, I think every card game is a rip off of Magic The Gathering, it has been out for SO much longer and I think is the best card game you can play.

good point. but Magic the Gathering and Pokemon TCG are both thoe kinds of games that use energies to attack and u can have an unlimited amount of Creatures, and you play spells from ur hand. u really dont set nything facedown in Magic, do you? (i havent played in a while so the rules might have changed :P)

but it has been out there for a long time and it is pretty awesome

There always, always, have bee Morph Cards in M:TG.

Oh, and in Pokemon, you can only have up to 7 cards in your bench. (7? 5? Haven't played in a while.)

Pokemon requires you to have energy card to attack, Magic requires you to have energy card to summon, but none to attack.

Magic also requires you to bring your opponent's life down to zero, whereas in Pokemon, you try to either

A.) Get all the Prize Cards

or

B.) Knock out all your opponent's Pokemon.

But I agree. Magic is THE card game.

so, if I battle with the leader guys, I kick ass, and I win games nonstop... I prefer using my method: I use the map like a story mode, which acts like a campaign, you gain points, and you hire more warriors. The battle system is simple: You can attack once, and if the attack is lower than the power of the enemy, the enemy will have a remaining power, but have same attack strength. My problem, is that If you have a leader, you will kill any guy in 1 turn. I hope you like my "method".
