  • マキネンの時もだけど何故インプ勝負の時は必ずインプ側にトラブルが起きるのだろうか・・・?

    土屋さんはGT引退してすぐにラリー界に飛び込めば世界チャンプになれたと思う☆

  • what are the arguments about? rally and track drivers have different styles of driving the rally dude could never beat DK on the track it just isnt possible and DK aint worth shit on the loose it's just how it is and what they were trained for

  • i think Tsuchiya is awesome driver an woop some ass their ..... but think the rx7 is made for roads lyk that :D

  • That RX-7 just blow the Subaru..

The truth is that the driver of the subaru wasn't familiar with the course and he sucks. Wrong entering point ofnsome corners, braking too early, etc.

    Tsuchiya rules ! ! !

  • wankel bad engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The rx-7 has more power, is lighter and handles better. So on such conditions, it would have won easily.

  • you cant handle worth a shit. where did you get that idea from

  • understeer. It's inherent in AWD cars. Look it up.

  • i dont need to look anything up i know awd has some understeer issues, i work for subaru usa i think your comment about awd drive not handling worth a shit was little strong. If the cars couldn't handle under extreme conditions subaru wouldn't have numerous wrc rally champions. There is more advantages to awd then not.

  • WRC conditions and normal tarmac conditions are way different. Plus WRC are highly tuned in terms of drivetrain and suspension.

  • wrc races on tarmac in some races and transfers between surfaces sometimes. the suspensions must be tuned for all conditions. the roads they use in wrc are public so when it comes to tarmac its nothing different then this car would drive on normally. with exceptions to dirt ,gravel, and snow. who's to say this car doesn't have tuning done to the suspension and drivetrain. These guys are professional racers in japan i don't think they would leave it stock.

I think he just fucked up.

  • @stupidguy120 lol one major downside to awd is power loss.

  • @stupidguy120 WRCCCCCCCCCCC :)

  • that guy cant drive worth shit. awd cars kick ass, if tommi makinen or richard burns or sebastian loeb were driving that subaru they woulda killed the rx7.

  • dude, the guy driving the STi is a professional road course racer, so it wouldn't be any different. Think, THEN speak.

  • i think that too... and im not like subaru... EVO POWER

  • @sandy142 Huh?? The drivers were both professional drivers. That rx7 is just a well setup car. IT laps the tsukuba circuit in the 59 second range for gods sake. And it has under 400hp. The car is simply amazing. I think you need to give credit where credit is due.

  • @sandy142 fuck you!

  • I meant whats the song at the end

  • re rx-7 the best touge machine

whats the at the end of the video

  • Best touge machine depends on the track, track condition, driver's abilities etc...

  • Love that STI superb handling to dream of, made my day.

  • im sorry...but the STi had 300hp...it had the 300hp rally restriction regulators...but it has the torque....even though it doesnt have the power...it's stripped out...so that should've evened it out.

  • Yea, I always say you ridy with ur torque and U sell car with your Power... :)

  • booster thats what carol shelby said, in a very distorted way...

The sti is interesting as the turbo is small with 2.5l displacement. antilag always helps inthe tq department

  • nice little step put by the rx just before th finish line too

  • nice recovery

  • i think the driver is the key of the race...

u can look quality of the racer^^

  • i gotta say.. i wish i can drive that fast through corners like that.. the way they drive is amazing..

  • Keiichi drive his gold every car..no doubt

  • RE-Amemiya (i r teh spelling n00b) makes the l33test RX-7's. no surprise a mostly stock STi loses.

run that race vs. a prepped s204 perhaps, and you've got yourself a race.

  • wat do u mean mostly stock?!?! it had 400hp and all the rally car stuff like the anti-lag so it doesnt loose boost and power coming out of a drift. sti's r heavy though. if u put a stock sti and rx7 in a race the rx7 sould come out on top in every thing. except for number of doors.

  • rally prepped for sure, but still probably not as modified as the RX-7.

400hp isn't that much over stock, conservative gains really. if it is really a rally car, to race in any internationally sanctioned rally its power, weight reduction, and supsension mods will be limited, while RE amemiya can do whatever they want to the RX-7. against a RE RX-7 400hp isn't enough in a straight line. AND the weight advantage for the RX-7 is huge in those tight corners.

  • a stock sti has 300hp. thats a 100hp increase. thats kind of a lot. the re rx-7 is fast. i dont really think it was an even race. i would trade 20 hp for about 220kg of weight loss. the rx-7 its a good starting platform. i wanna build one with a 20b rotory.

  • i know people making more than that on their stock turbo.

there is Much more available, believe me.

  • i know the sti's are good cars and some sound awsome but i think its too heavy. i got to ride in a 610awhp sti and it moved pretty quick. but my buddy has a na 20b that make 371whp and it weighs about 1172kg or something like that and it feels faster tan the sti. probably cause the sti only goes to about 7000rpm redline ,correct me if im wrong, for time attack the sti is beat by the evo almost everytime.

  • depends on mods/driver/track etc.

evo and sti are usually pretty close to each other.

who's 600whp sti did you ride in? that sort of sounds like bs to me dude, no offense.

  • it was a guy in canada when i went there to visit my cousin, hes friends with him. the evo can get more power out of the motor than a sti. we drive it around the street and it was pretty fast but it ran out of revs too fast. its like the power was too low. it kinda just stopped pulling hard at about 7000. he had the redline at 8000.

  • Evo's can make more power easily because the cast iron 4g63 is a little stronger than the aluminum ej257/207. thats not to say that sti's can't make the same power, it just requires a little more careful tuning (and cash too)

that being said the hallmark of the EJ257/207 is its incredible useablilty in day to day driving. its got loads of low RPM torque, and its quite happy rumbling around sub 2k rpm.

Also, the evo X has an aluminum block as well now

  • I have the sudden urge to go buy an aspara drink right now. Nice vid!

  • there should be a battle with a wrc impreza wrx sti with the co driver, might yield a different result

  • rotary nothing elce to say

  • Ohh yeah hell of a good race

  • well, let's see, 380 ps to the Suby's 300, lower center of gravity and heavier. Not a fair contest.. but nic video

  • gdb subaru always lose!!

  • This is a classic segment,good upload.
