This is one of my favorite movies of the 80's. Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Randee Heller were just brilliant. Oh and I loved Elisabeth Shue, especially her character. Unfortunately, nowadays stupid girls prefer brainless muscular ill-bred playboys with rich cars & zero personality. Sad, very sad. The Karate Kid was wonderful and so realistic film! I miss the 80's
The whole concept of this movie was limp and ridiculous. But Ralph Macchio was super dooper cute and I could have eaten him for breakfast every day of the week...
this ones wayy better than the other two. in the 2nd one, he fights too the death, minus the death, and in the 3rd one he almost gets killed and acts like he's on something
The Karate Kid, known by myself as Karate Kid until today, It was one of my favourites films when I was a child, or a Kid?. I was born in 1978 and If I had seen The Karate Kid in 1984 I would had had only 6 years old when I watched it for the first time. I guess I watched the film few years after it´s première. Anyway the teachings of the Master during the film were inspirational for a whole generation and an introduction to the Japanese culture. I am glad to find the original trailer. Gracias
@MrAsoau He's still acting. Does mostly guest appearances, and I think his most recent credit was a music video for Danko Jones that came out in March. He is married and has TWO kids, not six (lol) and is currently on Dancing with the Stars. :)
