  • What do painted coins do?

  • The guy at 8:00 will kill you if you even think about fucking with his machines! Glad to see Son Of Sam is getting fair treatment in the work force! Space Port quality. Rest In Peace!

  • "The change maker is a member of your team!" Is he like R2D2 ?!

  • "This game don't work right" there goes my gut

  • the first thing anyone should do before working at spaceport is.. smoke weed, THEN punch in.

  • Oh my ! look at the scary guy at 06:34

  • Serial killer at 8:00. Wait a minute that's Randy. He works at SPACEEEEEPORT.

  • Serial killer at 8:00.

  • ha back in the good olde days when you could smoke in malls

  • How bad did those guys hate the jumpsuits?! If you are a mechanic or a janitor ok, but jumpsuits for giving change just plain embarassing. The owner of Spaceport was obviously some kind of sadist.

  • do Arcades even exit anymore ??

nice uniforms. damn loiterers! how is he abusing the game?

  • It would be nice if one of the companies would come out with a truthful training video. Get as much money from the customer while giving them the least amount of product or services as possible. Would be better than this crap that just insults everyone's intelligence.

  • 1:13...hehe, they spelled nickels wrong, hehehehehe

  • "Another important member of your team is your dollar-bill changer." LOL! It's R2D2.

  • 5:01 "This customer is continuing to abuse a game."

I dunno about that. I heard she likes it rough. Galaxy = HOOORE

  • This is awesome!!

We used to have a Spaceport in the town where I live. Never realized it was an arcade chain.

The employees didn't wear a nice blue jumpsuit like in the video. One time when I used the change machine there was a "painted coin" with the change. If you got a "painted coin" you would win 15 free games. I totally used all my free games on BAD DUDES and CONTRA...hahaha

  • Use the amount of force neccessary to deal with the patron...fuck that...motherfucker gets that ground and pound till he taps out!

  • Did they really wear those space cadet suits? I would feel like a failed astronaut wannabe...

  • Yes, they really did.

  • What a joke remove free game left over form others?

and you can't play test games. With pinball you have to do that to see if the game is fully working.

  • "As you go about your duty, you'll find money on the floor and in the coin return cups. This is considered company money and will be placed in your cash box."

    Like hell it is.

  • i used to work at an arcade i would put an out order on streetfighter 2 then come back after hours and play

  • Lol! Why would you need employees if there is a change machine!? Fucken idiots, but yea I remember this place. My dad would sell weed to the guys that worked there, and I would always get free quarters.

  • @dallassuckscock wow that's definitally a "family" environment lol

  • Man I loved Space Port when I was a kid.

  • Gene Wilder is pointing out the change machine to #3.

  • I love the one employee with the really bad combover. You know he's still living at home with his mother!

  • the three dudes at 3:30 look like something out of Caddyshack. 4:10 everything goes to hell the dirtbag bitch slaps the employee. The video basically says "if someone smacks you, kick his ass" 5:06 steroid abuser freaks out - refer to procedures at 4:10 TFF

  • The photos in this are absolutely hilarious, especially the kid with the unlit cigarette in his mouth around 3:00 and the proud employees holding up their PAINTED COINS around 8:22. THE TALL EMPLOYEE IS MY FAVORITE HES SO DREAMY <3 <3 <3

  • thanks for that video, where you an employee of a spaceport? i never thought about working for them, kinda over looked them, it was a good place to hangout and play some games, they had better prices than aliddan's castle and fun factory

  • SpacePort was later acquired by Sega's TimeOut and later by Namco, which owned Aladdin's Castle.

  • i didn't know that, do you know where they got the decoration they had in all thier stories, it thought the same items would make a cool setting for a laser tag arena, thanks for any info

  • at lest they give free games to people from time to time.

  • @heine71 i never knew Time Out was run by Sega. i thought it was run by Namco all the way.

  • @figment1988 Sega sold Time Out to Namco around 1995-1996.

  • @heine71 ah. i remember the namco thing, because when Kellogg's had their "Cruis'n USA" Giveaway, it mentioned namco cyberstation too.

  • "This game don't work right!" Priceless.

  • awesome, i have a copy of this video too.

i used to go pick-up food for the attendants and they've give me some painted quarters in return.

then, of course, i ended up becoming a manager when i got older, because... i'm an addict!

  • I never knew what those painted coins were for!

That really sucks that they were supposed to clear any unused game credits; it always made my day when I'd run into a free game!
