can't adele just be amazing on her own right without any other singer, artist performer having to be less than? truth is all successful artists bring something to the table that MANY people enjoy, but most don't capture what i'd consider to b the perfect storm: prolific writer, astonishing vocalist, overwhelmingly wonderful & seemingly complex arrangements; these 3 facts set ADELE above the fray. nevertheless there r still & will always be good singers. grow up people there is room for many.
