The phony blue eye contacts bothered me through the whole film. CGI has advanced to the point they can just color a person's eyes through the film without having to resort to unconvincing contacts which put the pupil on the surface of the eye instead of inside the cornea.

i liked the film, i think it was fantastically awesome :) especially kevin spaceys portrayal of lex luther, it was amazing, he reminded me so much of gene hackman. the only thing i would of changed was the color of supermans cape and boots and "S" cuz they made is bergendie rather then red the way it used to b. and his hair style. other then that, good movie :) it continues off Superman 2 :)
Brandon Routh was a good Superman. Kate Bosworth was not a good Lois Lane but she had great onscreen chemistry with Brandon which made up for that. I like the idea of Superman missing and returning to a changed world but they never played with that idea...at all, when he returns his arrival is treated the same way it was in the Donner films. They gave him a dumb kid and there were only 3 action sequences and the best one came early (the plane crash) making the film boring.
Routh looks like Reeves. Stacey acts good like Gene Hackman did. It's a real estate swindle. People look like it's the 40s. "Statistically speaking, it's the safest way to fly."
Could he have possibly stolen more and had any less originality?
