As for god ,god in the highest is the paramatma or that formless entity that is that universal cosmic energy ,the lord can come from a non-physical to a physical aka avatar or send a prophet which is like christ and muhammed to send the messages of god.I personally believe that hinduism has all the answers to all religions and spirituality and god and especially the righteous way of life.
Point is the caste system is not about ridiculing or oppressing or whose high or low but to perform our duties from our lineage to ensure that our darma is followed through and this is where I will agree meandtheDoctor that the caste system is not followed by dharma anymore how sad.
but that does not mean that all other caste have to say a bramhin is the highest they have their duties as well ,chatriya or warrior lineage have the duty to protect darma by fighting the enemies if necessary.
My view on hinduism is that the caste system that the lord created was for each linage that you born to follow a particular religious deed for eg bramhins who born in the brahm lineage have to learn about the scriptures and uplift people so scripture is for everyone,they also have to learn the qualities of being a brahmin,
Narayan is Eka (one) or Naika (Many). Hinduism is polytheist AND monotheist : because God is Absolute. In the west, you are monotheist OR polytheist ; it's not a problem for hinduism, this opposition.
