sometimes it hard to get nice vocals to suit your mix, personally a lot of my mixes dont have many vocals throughout. my girl thinks mixes like that are boring but I really enjoy them! Deep n dark, whatever your mood =D

OK mixing, leave the platter alone though and practice cueing up using only the pitch control, you'll have a seamless mix! The last mix is classic of fiddling with the platter, cue it right, first time, pitch control only dude!
