Different versions of the game have different features. I think it's the ps2 version(possibly even Gamecube and Xbox) that's practically a completely different game compared to the PC version. Personally, I hate it when developers do stuff like that.

It's the best game in the series, yes. Because Double Agent is not dark and stealth anymore. Still a good game, but not the original Splinter Cell feel...

i'd have to ,i have played all the games in the series and double agent is the best. Although i love chaos theory double agent steps it up delving into the storyline alot more which gives the player a far more immersive experience. It still uses some of the same splinter cell hide in the dark gameplay but using the daylight gives the game a whole new refreshing experience.
