If your tryin to teach how to transition and approach as fast as possible, you should start by not making a 4 step approach... 3 steps is where it's at bronamith.
But, you do move faster when you don't have your eyes looking stint at the ball. And this isn't really the same as turning your back on the net and jogging backwards, this is a footstep combination.
@blownspeakersss If there was a magic meter to say how difficult is is to get a scholarship we all would be on scholaships. :-) While coaches scout you, scout the coaches and schools you plan on applying for. Talk to current and former players for their insight and you can train accordingly. Good luck!
Well after the ball is on your side of the net and you are pulling off why do you want to face the net? I am not sure either! There is nothing happening on your opponents side!
At this stage you need to get off the net as fast as possible and get ready to approach!
Be sure to see the other pro explain this too after blocking for beach too!
@Volleyball1on1Videos different schools mate here in Serbia turning your back to the net is the most noobish thing u can do,we always go backwards as fast as we can whit your eyes on the ball, like i said different schools, keep up the good work
really now? Then why is that the setter only faces their time when the opponent is serving? It's because they don't need to see the opponent's serve, they need to be ready to set the ball that is passed by the first touch.
one thing you should know about rules of thumb is that they aren't rules of thumb.
@JJ3194 uhm ok for canadian volleyball maybe not but for serbian volleyball it is and we won 17 medals in last 15 years on major competitions so ...,its just not the proper technique for attack prep for me and our coaching my opinion.
@Volleyball1on1Videos woww, the first time I saw your video I thought you lower the net a bit, hahaha just kidding, I am a big fan of volleyball and all of your training videos are gold!
