  • ok well, what you want to do is get two flat square pieces of metal that are 1 inch by three inches and maybe 1"4 inch thick and drill holes in them at the ends , remove your shock from the bottom of the a arm, get your two pieces of metal and sandwich them go buy some grade 8 bolts that are the same size as your shocks, run them through the shock mount, "piece of metal, shock mount, piece of metal", put a bolt through, do the same for the shock on the other end, and repeat for the other two

  • @fastgmc then your going to want to get a piece of metal and run it from the middle of the pieces of metal back to your arm and weld it, and the same for the rear, if you have a welding shop at your high school I would go talk to the teacher, if you dont, find a local machine shop or just a small garage in general, this doesnt have to be a fancy weld or anything like that, anyone that has a farm close by with a welder can do this weld no problem, you should get about a 2 inch lift, it would be

  • @fastgmc a fun little project for you, but if you like atvs and at your age, i honestly would recommend cleaning this one up, and possiable selling it to find a honda 300 fourtrax, but you should be able to get all the stuff you need this for pretty cheap, and its going to make some noise in the factory shock mount holes and in the bottom of the shocks if there is a large gap, my lift kits have come with round cylinders to fill that gap but you can always hit that with a weld too

  • @fastgmc i would love to get a honda fourtrax

  • @fastgmc like square steel

  • @xxtruckin93xx just flat pieces, it wouldnt be much to do it, but i think you can get a nice price out of this atv and buy a bigger one

  • @fastgmc 1 or 2 flat pieces on each side ya how much money would you sell it for

  • @xxtruckin93xx ah you can go to kbb.com and see what its worth i told a 90 polaris a few months ago for a friend for over 800. you should get around 500 i would think

  • @fastgmc hey would i only put the steel peices on the bottom shock and a -arm right none at the very top

  • @xxtruckin93xx right, the bottom of the shock and on the a arm, all you are doing is moving the point where the shock meets the arm and that pushes the arms down and the shocks up

  • @fastgmc thank you so much
