Pay could be better, and they took 1 cent per mile 3 years ago and we never seen it again, now they are trying to make us earn it back and the new raises that are coming. Your capped at 38CPM right now and I dont like the no idle policy they have, with summer coming, its going to suck big being in the truck.
the company is huge enough that you can pretty much be guaranteed freight just about anywhere, and when its good its good, you get the miles if you want them, and they most of the time run legal, but you get a few idiots that still try to run you over your 70 hours or whatnot. The Cons: You get screwed out of miles more so then what seems to be legal, you usually get a truck thats always got something wrong with it,
Well the Pros of driving for Swift: I enjoy the Accelerated pay thing they have, you get paid on the current pay check, right after you do your empity call,
