I'm from the area, this is my home town. Grew up here since 1988. I was six years old when we moved to Ellicott City. I've been inchanted by Historic Ellicott City ever since.
My parents and I used to go wading in the summer at that exact portion of the stream. I'm in Vancouver BC now for school and it brought back good memories.
