There probably aren't enough in number of fans to match Japan's numbers. The demand of the Ape Escape franchise outside Japan, is not as much as it is outside of Japan. If you compare Ape Escape to more successful franchises like Mario or Halo, you will more likely see Mario merchantise than Ape Escape merchantise being imported from Japan. Ape Escape stuff is very rare, I seen some in some stores before.

People must never forget that Game, cuz this is the greatest game ever that i ever played before (i played Ape Escape on PS1 and it was funny and great =]) XD this GAME IS #1! YEAH! XD

I never played Piposaru 2001 before. A lot of Ape Escape fans never played this game, because it was never released outside Japan. Fanart and videos based on Piposaru 2001 are almost extinct, because it was never mentioned to the worldwide public except for Japan. If only Piposaru 2001 was translated, the episode could have been longer.

Wow..I'm amazed you found any info at all...I've always wondered what that game was like and could find nothing. Why is Spike taking their pants in the first place? And another thing..do you know any sites that sell Ape Escape items like you said such as puppets and all? I give this five stars because you worked hard even though it wasn't as easy to find.

There are sites I know, but the prices are insane. 59.99 dollars for an Ape Escape plushie, which includes shipping...I am not sure of the rest of the merchanise. Episode 5 of Saru Get Chu: The Forgotten Legend is now in production, and it will be released at the end of July.

We can find the memory card in some videogames shops who import merchandise from Japan, but it's hard.

I saw the memory card in this Asian shopping mall once, it still stays there on the display for years. I live in a multicultural city, so it is easier for me to find the merchanise and games imported from Japan.

Gamespot doesn't have them anymore or those images of Piposaru 2001. I can't use IGN, because the video format for the Piposaru 2001 videos are Quicktime. WMM can only read AVI. I will promise that Episode 5 will be twice BETTER!
