You can probably make that map in LunarMagic. But it would take AGES.

I don't think so...at least not 100%. There are some tiles that no longer exist in the current ROM.

Yes, if its something minor, but you can edit certain sprites to look like something, but its still programmed a certain way to do a specific thing.

I tried to revive the old map with Lunar Magic, but sadly it was beyond me at that stage so I gave up the task. I believe that you could do this with a little patience, So I will definitely be rooting you on with this one. I'll even be glad to help if necessary. Good Luck!
