I stumbled upon this searching for the BBC programme with a similar title, but what a tranquil spot this is, with the light blue flowers growing under the shade of the young trees.

What are those flowers called? Are they fragrant? And is that the owner of this channel who is narrating?

Green is a such a comfort to the eyes when living in the desert as I am.

Brilliant slaxxer,Talking of caterpillars, is it just me or do they seem very rare nowadays? Bluebell woods on a sunny May day hard to beat. We are animals part of the whole eco system, all animals conscious and aware. The whole country once woodland now I think about 12%. Homeless...streets or wood, not much choice there, although lot more challenging in the winter. I am proud to be English as I feel so connected to the countryside. Technology good when used in the right way...as in this video, ta.

Thank you for showing us this wood - it is breath taking! I had to stop watching the stuff on the BP oil spill for the past few days as it was casting a pall over my life. Pix of dead turtles, etc, wasn't doing anyone any good. I have been enjoying my peony bushes which are literally weighed down with huge blossoms - trying to focus on the good things we can do for a bit.
